"The place itself is a gem and huge, with all sorts of facilities. Unfortunately it's located in a rough area of the Campania region. Staff is ok. There is plenty of opportunity either to just relax and sunbath or to do sports (from riding a bike to water activities). The night pool is a treat. Extras include a sauna, a resort. Food is very good. Perhaps will explore further."

We went there to celebrate our 30th anniversary, and we are very happy with our choice. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. "My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay in Formia. The beach is superb and the location is good for exploring Lazio and Campania by car. The property is comfortable and well equipped and Valeria, the host, is most attentive and helpful. Formia, itself, is an interesting town but visits to Naples, Amalfi, Sorrento, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Casserta and Gaeta are all possible and worth doing. Taking the train from Formia to Naples is a recommendation rather than using the car."
