"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"We’ve visited Deep Creek Lake five times now staying different houses each time. We put this one at the top of the list! We loved the lake view and location. Our kids loved seeing the ducks/geese, being close to Wisp, and the bunk beds. The house was very clean and well maintained. Any minor issues were quickly addressed by the owners and the check-in/out processes were easy. We plan to return in the future!"
"We stayed here to ski at Wisp, which was across the street. We walked there one day and drove another. We could watch people ski down the front of the mountain from the couch, which was awesome. The fireplace and hot tub were key. The unit was clean and cozy, albeit a bit dated."

"Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings."
