Far from the bustle of the city, this beautiful property is in a privileged area of the city, where views of the city's tourist area mingle with the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.
With excellent sun exposure, the garden space offers you the opportunity to get a new tan or, if you want to relax and enjoy the space for a good meal with friends or family.
The property has three bedrooms, two with double beds, one with two single beds; two full bathrooms and two social; a fully equipped kitchen and the spacious living room where you can enjoy the views. The house has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of six people.
The apartment is fully equipped with all amenities and has a garage.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated near one of Funchal's most prestigious tourist areas, this property is close to Piornais and Formosa Beach, which are a 4-minute drive away. Forum Madeira shopping center, which features several international renowned shops and movie theaters, is a 7-minute drive away.
Nearby there are several bars. In addition to the nearest options, you can go to Funchal city center (10 minutes by car) where you will find a greater variety of restaurants.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the cabs you'll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house

The view is fantastic. We could enjoy both the sun rise and the sun set also from the small garden. Despite the close proximity with the highway, which is convenient, the plca was very quiet as we couldn't hear a sound from the highway.

Amazing property in awesome location

This property is in a great location and the views are amazing. Very clean and pictures don’t do justice. Property is better than what you see in pictures. Very pleased and will definitely stay here again. I have been to a lot of vacation rentals, this was the best one by far. Driveway is very steep and my car bottomed out but I ended up just parking on the street. Wasn’t a big deal as I just parked in front of the driveway entrance.

Vila Papageio Verde

This is a very beautiful house, very comfortable for six guests. It is on a steep hill and there are no restaurants or supermarkets near by. But there is a nice supermarket and farmers’ market in Camara de Lobos. There are also great restaurants. And there is a bus stop close to the house. Bus #3 will take you right into Funchal. Taxi rides from Funchal to the house are about $15. The view from the house is absolutely beautiful. Any small issues with the house were addressed at once. The communication was very good.

Tolles Haus mit Meerblick

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von der Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell in Funchal. Bis auf ein paar kleinere Mängel, können wir das Haus absolut weiterempfehlen. Ein Whirlpool oder Pool würde das ganze noch toppen.

Sehr schönes Haus in perfekter Lage mit leichten Mängeln.

Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und perfekt gereinigt. Unangenehm faulige Gerüche in der Küche und im Treppenhaus. Mit Durchzug/offenen Fenstern waren Gerüche weg, kamen aber neu... Terrassenbelag färbte stark schwarz, man bekam sofort schwarze Sohlen/Füße und trug den Schmutz in das ganze Haus. Außenmöbel vergilbt aber in Ordnung. Alle Polsterauflagen im Außenbereich und die Bezüge der Sessel in der Stube müssten ersetzt bzw. gereinigt werden. Angebotene Kommunikation über Whattsapp funktionierte nicht. Unsere Nachfrage nach einem Check-Out (eine Stunde später) wurde leider auch nach 7 Tagen nicht gelesen. Das Haus ist perfekt gelegen. Der traumhafte Ausblick auf das Meer wird lediglich durch Müllsammelplatz an der nächsten Straßenecke beeinträchtigt. Alles was man im Urlaub benötigt, war mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Fußläufig war es wegen der steilen Straße/Wege zwar auch gut möglich, aber etwas anstrengend: Bäcker + Supermarkt 20 Minuten, Restaurant 20-30 Minuten, Strand 40 Minuten. Aber das war uns ja vorher bekannt. Das Haus ist (fast) perfekt ausgestattet. Für das Gästebad gab es kein Handtuch. Es gab insgesamt nur 5 Weingläser, von denen keine 2 die gleiche Größe hatten. Ohne die vorgenannten Mängel wäre das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut gewesen. So war es in Ordnung.

Easy, safe and convenient

We had a really nice stay at this villa. It is situated on a very very steep mountainside, with an excellent view. Kitchen is not the most well equipped, but every time we had any kind of enquiry with the people from An island appart, they helped us immidiately. Eg. th coffe maker broke and they replaced it the same day, we needed childrens beds and high chairs and they supplied this. The power went off (in the whole region) and they sent a member of staff imidiately to keep us informed. So very helpful and nice company! And vey nive and comfertable villa.

Holiday in Madeira

We were very happy with our stay in Vila Papagaio Verde. The house was the perfect spot to complement our holiday. We really enjoyed the space, cool stairs and particularly the views. The deck chairs were a welcome addition. The only thing that bothered us was that one bathroom lock was not working. Overall, Fabio was very helpful and we were glad that we could book an airport transfer through your website. Thanks again!

Casa moderna com excelente vista. Muito fácil a comunicação com o host, que nos disponibilizou um link com toda a informação necessária para o Check-In e estadia. A casa está bem equipada, com o necessário para tornar a nossa estadia o mais confortável possível. A localização da casa é boa se deslocar-se de carro. Fica numa zona habitacional tranquila, próxima do acesso à via rápida (VR1) e a 5 minutos de carro do Madeira Shopping, caso necessite de alguns bens essenciais.
