"Santa Maria Maior was just as described and in a perfect location. We were minutes from the cable car and many wonderful restaurants and bars. Patricia greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and some tips regarding the area. She was delightful. Olivier checked to ensure everything went smoothly and wished us a farewell. As Americans living in Portugal I would recommend this apartment."

"Unser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung war super. Sie war sauber und entsprach den Bildern. Die Naturpools sind fußläufig und auch der Norden Madeiras ist von dort aus mit dem Mietwagen super zu erkunden. Der ausgeschriebene freie Parkplatz ist derzeit eine Baustelle und man muss Glück haben mit Parkplätzen vor der Ferienwohnung, ansonsten ist aber 2 Minuten zu Fuß ein bezahlbarer 24-Stunden Parkplatz für die Natur Pools (6€/Tag) nebenan. "The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of what I would expect from a five-star all-inclusive resort. The biggest disappointment was the food. The quality was poor, with meals feeling mass-produced and lacking the standard, variety, and freshness that should accompany a five-star offering. The main restaurant was also extremely noisy, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxed dining experience. The entertainment provided little value and was underwhelming throughout our stay. In addition, some of the finer details that distinguish a true five-star hotel were noticeably absent. For example, fresh bottled water was not replenished daily in the room, which is a basic amenity many guests would expect. While the property itself is attractive and the accommodation comfortable, the overall experience did not justify its five-star rating. If you are looking for a genuine luxury all-inclusive experience, I would recommend considering other options."
