The front desk guy did not tell us what time breakfast was served. Our room was on the second floor, but the elevator was not operating; it seemed to be a problem for quite a while. The pool was undergoing maintenance. The fan in our bathroom was not working. The room itself seemed clean and the sheets didn’t have the typical “funky smell,” which was a nice surprise. The towels were typical hotel towels; thin and funky smelling. The shower was extremely difficult to turn on: it seemed as if someone turned it off really hard and hubby had to get it for me. There was a used washcloth hanging from the shower head. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice having a movie channel you didn’t have to pay for to see a movie. We do not plan on staying here again in the future. There are nicer hotels with the same amenities that actually work (elevator, fan, shower, pool).

This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had and we travel frequently. The following was broken or out of order: the elevator, the pool, TV in fitness center, phones in room and fitness center, clock in our room, light bulb in our room. In addition, there was a very bad smell throughout the hotel that only eased when another guest opened the hall windows. The front entrance, lobby and stairwells were dirty, had trash and stains that were never cleaned during our stay. Finally, the breakfast was very limited and extremely unhealthy; the eggs were rubbery, the biscuits rock hard, there were only two kinds of cheap cereal (rice crispies and coco puffs) and the yogurt was extremely high in sugar. I would never stay here again unless there was a complete makeover with new management and personnel. With everything wrong, we felt like we’re were robbed and deserve compensation for our entire two day stay.

Booked a room for total charge of $98.61 upon arrival at property we were told our room was not available and the property was full except for one room that was $151. As it was the only option we had to take it. Felt like this was a bait and switch on price. Manager just said sorry nothing he could do as Expedia overbooked the hotel.

Bed bugs and smell
I rented 2 rooms for the evening, one for me and one for my son. My room wasn’t too bad. It had a smell to it and had some quarter size holes in the wall under pictures. My son’s room was awful. It had an awful stink to it and had a bug on the pillow. We went down to the service desk to get it fixed. The gentleman didn’t say anything to us, no sorry, no nothing. All he did was give my son a new room. When he handed us the new door keys he said I gave you a new room. Well that room didn’t have any bugs but the smell was still awful. The entire 2nd floor had it. I was going to complain again but I felt as if it would do no good since the smell was in the hallway as well. I had a room spray that I had packed, so we used that. The gentleman that was at the front desk seemed not able to speak English clearly. We had a hard enough time checking in so that was another reason I didn’t press the issue. I was tired from our traveling and just wanted to go to sleep.

Whatever make over is being done is chaotic in the hotel. There is stuff throughout the hotel on the floor which can become very unsafe. The room had a dirty light switch from dirty hands touching it and it not being wiped down and had an odd smell.

We didn't like the room because the shower head was broken and would only spay into corner the corner. The main reason we choose this hotel was because of the nice swimming pool. The pool was closed and drained under maintenance. This wasn't noted on booking! The floors in breakfast area were dirty. The carpet in hallway by our room was very dirty with some construction materials laying in hallway. The breakfast on second morning was lacking. This won't be our first or second choice the next time were in town to visit family!

We do apologize for any inconvenience at this time, we are currently undergoing remodeling at the hotel and have shut the pool down for the next 6 and did let our booking sites know in advance about this so they could update their website. We try our best to make sure everyone has a safe and relaxing stay with us with little to no issues, but if there is an issue we would appreciate it bring brought to our attention. if we don't know about the issues we cant remedy them.

Ongoing Renovations throughout the hotel were inconvenient due cleanliness and dust in the air in the hallway to my room.The shower drain in my room was very slow and during a shower the water was all the way up to my ankles.

I made a reservation weeks ago for myself, my husband and our 2 kids (twin teenagers) I reserved 2 Queen beds. We get here and go to check in and the guy at the front tells us the reservation is for 2 and that we need to get another room for our kids. I tell him they are part of the reservation and they are minors and that’s not going to happen. He keeps telling me they can’t stay in our room and we have to get a separate reservation. After several minutes of arguing, he tells us they can stay in our room, but don’t let his boss see on the cameras or he’s going to get in trouble. He sat the keys down and walked off. Didn’t tell us where the room was. Didn’t tell us about breakfast. Just walked off. We spend thousands on hotel rooms a year between the D1 hockey team we run, and the travel teams our kids play for. We will NEVER stay here or another hotel in this franchise again. I’ve contacted corporate already in the off chance there’s any way you guys are associated with them.

im sorry to hear this. With remolding going on it is extra dusty but our housekeepers do go into the rooms and dust every day just to keep them clean. I apologize for the pool being down as well, we didnt have a maintenance man that knew how to take care of it so we had to shut it down for the next 6 months.

The bed in 1 room was broken, the lock didn't work in the second so they couldn't keep me in the same floor as the other room i rented. Our keys kept failing so we had to get replacement keys. The food was cold for breakfast everyday. Even the carts for moving luggage were broke.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us, but I do want to say that none of our rooms have or had bed bugs at that time or at the present time. If and when we are told about a problem in a room, we immediately shut down that room and have it taken care immediately so that there is no problem with other rooms becoming involved.

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here & will continue to do so. Overall it’s a nice hotel & always clean. When I arrived to check in no one was at the desk. I said hello loudly a couple of times but I should’ve tapped the darn bell. The gal seemed annoyed that I was waiting for help. Sorry if she had to do her job….breakfast was decent & the pool was open but we didn’t use it. This is probably the best option for staying in Fulton.

For 17 yrs we have been staying at this property each year. This is the first time we have had a problem. We stayed 3 nights. Not one time was our room cleaned. Each evening we had to get clean towels. Our room and lobby was dusty when we arrived. We went down for breakfast by 9am. It was open until 9:30am. Basically nothing was available. No silverware, or cooked food. I was able to fix a waffle. My husband got coffee, but it was cold. I finally found an employee and asked if they had juice. She said her boss wouldn"t let her order. Someone needs to go to Walmart and buy some. Well okay. But that didn't help right then. It was like this each morning. You always had to ring a bell to get the attendant at front desk. They would come from behind looking like they had been asleep. We were so disappointed. This has always been a nice place to stay. I don't know who the mgr is, but they need to come survey what is happening.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Despite the kind young lady at the front desk who did her best to make things right.I would never recommend or stay at this property ever again. The room we reserved (on 3rd floor) was dirty, as in, it had old smelly food in the mini-fridge, carpet was not clean (dog hair, sunflower seeds, some dog food), fold out couch and chairs were badly stained, ice machine on 3rd floor didn’t work. When i tried to call the front desk to ask for another room, no one answered so I went down to speak to the clerk. She gave me room keys to another room on the second floor to go see if I’d like that room instead. So, i went to look at it and either someone else was already staying in the room (because the bed was unmade and there were objects around the room) or the maid hadn’t cleaned it yet. We opted to stay in the room we were in because at least the bed sheets appeared to be clean….but I asked her to have the maid come vacuum and she said that she was the only one there and that couldn’t happen. She offered to lower the price of the room which I accepted and told me the maid would be there the next day (we had the room for 2 nights). The maid never came by the next day to vacuum. My husband overheard several other guests in the lobby sayi the front desk clerk had given them keys to rooms that were already in use or dirty Overall…the entire property is badly run down and it was apparent that they didn’t have adequate staffing to handle the needs of the property or guests.

Sorry your stay was less than desirable, we are preparing for a remodel as we speak and hope that one day you will try staying with us again. our staff is not allowed to go into a room of the Do Not Disturb sign is on the door so maybe that was part of the issue. again we apologize.
