Tenza Hotel at Hakata Station
Excellent location, very nice room (window could be opened ;)), nice staff. Only let-down was the breakfast: Even though their official web page advertises "A healthy and beautiful vegetarian breakfast with Itoshima vegetables and Fukuoka delicacies to energize your body and mind from the morning" ...
