The picturesque town of Füssen, also known as the romantic soul of Bavaria, lies 800 metres above sea level. The highest town in Germany and with its lively old town, as well as the world-famous royal castles, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau is one of the undisputed highlights of every visitor to Füssen.

The varied nature with the alpine peaks Säuling and Tegelberg approx. 2000 m high, as well as the lakes, Forggensee, Allatsee, Weissensee, Hopfensee, Schwanensee, Alpsee, Bannwaldsee offer endless possibilities for your active and relaxing holiday. Take the cable car from Schwangau, 3 km away, up the Tegelberg to 1850 m and then walk to the summit.

Tegelberg is a centre for paragliders. In Schwangau there is a beautiful large thermal bath. One of the most beautiful churches in Bavaria "the Wieskiche" is 30 km away.
