"Clean, friendly, room ok with lovely balcony and view. No lift Dinner ok for me.(Pork chops) not for my wife . Breakfast ok but coffee awful. I had fresh fruit, yogor, toast, juice and tea. Hot was scrambled egg (it ran out( and tiny sausages. No vale la pena. Super lady and young M an at reception and bar."

"The place is an old ducal palace like a posada but more reasonable price. I wondered around the gardens and pool area, well kept. Lots of other services I did not partake in. Good secure parking, pleasant sitting area near the bar with a very good painting of bulls . Breakfast was good. Only complaint was that the season changed the air conditioning to winter although the outside temperature was near 30, and the window could not be opened , so the room was quite warm for sleeping, "

"A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!"

"We booked our stay for a couple of nights, and upon arrival it took us a while to locate the entrance as it wasn't very clear. As we signed in at the reception, we were told that the hotel was under a 'soft opening', that meant some of the services weren't working a 100% and that me might find a couple issues, which we hadn't been previously informed of when we made the reservation. It was a nice place altogether though, with a nicely decorated apartment (albeit with a relatively outdated and not very clean bathroom), a good pool, but the breakfast could be better. Fantastic view from the pool, but there is a lot of construction still underway around the development, the noise was quite disruptive, not great to say the least. It would be interesting to come back after all of these details are sorted, construction finished, etc, to see if this hotel is really worth it."

"Great location and hotel! It’s a little older, but very charming. The staff person was wonderful, and the area is incredible! We parked right outside the beginning of the town, as driving on the narrow streets didn’t feel worth the short-ish walk to get there. "

"The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here."
