The laundry is a definite perk and the complimentary coffee, maple marshmallows and chocolate biscuits were lovely.The view is remarkable! Kayaks are available for a paddle from the launch area.Cottage is only 15 minutes from Lunenburg so quick access to shopping and dining."

"The trail behind the hotel was closed. It has nothing to do with the hotel rating, but it's the only area that's walkable. The street in front of the hotel doesn't even have a sidewalk. "

"Totally renovated property with comfortable bed. Very clean and quiet. You can walk to the downtown in 10-15 minutes. There is a grocery store just next to the property. Excellent value for the money! Received door entry pass code the day before checking-in date and no need to stop over the office for checking out."

"I was assigned the Victoria Room in this B&B that is under renovations. The hosts are very nice and quite chatty. I found the entire breakfast to be outstanding, with the banana bread, sausages and coffee as the stars of the breakfast! My room was cozy, and it had all the amenities that one needs. The waterfront where the tall ships dock was only a 10-minute walk from the B&B and there is a local pub a block away. I would highly recommend the Rose & Thistle Bed & Breakfast who want to experience such a friendly and welcoming environment."
