"The room was freezing as it had no heat on. Probably not used enough. It was king suite on bottom floor as the hotel had no elevator the sofa in room you could not sit n as it sunk and you could barely get out if it. Needs to be replaced. Was not worth the extra money I had to pay to stay on bottom floor. "

"I was welcomed like a friend the moment I walked through the door, unpretentious and genuinely warm. The house is charming and full of history. It's a Victorian home built by a shipbuilder in the 1800s. There's something pretty special about staying somewhere with that much history. The comfort matched the character of the place, and the homemade baking alone is worth the visit. When I had to leave before the crack of dawn to catch a flight, there was a box waiting for me with a packed breakfast that prompted strangers in the airport to ask me where it came from. Mahone Bay is a gem of a town, and this place sits right in the heart of it. Honestly, I'd go back without a second thought."
