"Wendy and Anthony are 5-star incredible hosts. They’re working non-stop revitalizing this beautiful property. I would come back just to support their continued dedication and their welcoming, generous nature. Kudos to you both and we wish you every success! The pool is new and very relaxing - we definitely spent most of our time here. The hosts offered us pool toys for our kids to use which was so nice. The lake is a short walk down the road with a safe swimming area, sand and a lifeguard (during operating hours). The hosts offer non-motorized watercraft on carts to wheel down with you. There’s a playground for small kids and a games room for older kids. They have bonfires each night and fireworks some nights too. We stayed in the upper chalet - new plates, silverware, cups, glasses, etc. Appliances, towels and bedsheets were clean. Each room has a window air conditioner which keeps it cool. Interior still needs some updating throughout but it is well maintained. Lots to do around the resort if you feel like leaving. The scenic caves were very cool! Hosts have lots of recommendations which were spot on."

"Unforgettable Family Week at Loon Lake!We just wrapped up a wonderful week-long stay at this farmhouse on Loon Lake, and it exceeded all our expectations. The house was incredibly spacious with plenty of room for the whole family to relax, spread out, and unwind. It came fully equipped with every amenity we could possibly need, making our stay completely hassle-free from the moment we unpacked.The lake itself is absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to the view and spending our days enjoying the water made for a truly restorative week. Everything was seamless, comfortable, and memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better family getaway and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect lakefront vacation!"
A beautiful lake view cabin on Friends Lake

"We had an amazing week at this cabin. The kitchen, furnishings, bedding, etc, were all top of the line. I was particularly jealous of the deep, vintage kitchen sink and double oven! The setting was quiet and we had plenty of space and privacy from neighbors. It cooled down nicely and stayed cool inside during the days, even in extreme weather, because of the shade. (I actually asked the host how to turn off the AC on arrival. There is no AC! Lol) They also provided fans for each room, so you don't need to bring your own. The only downside to the shade was it was hard to get towels, wet shoes, and suits dry, so we recommend bringing extra! I was also glad I brought a set of clothes bars to hang items inside in rainy days. The host was there to greet us shortly after our arrival the first day, and showed us where the kayaks and rowboat were located. We were nervous at first because the beach was marked "private," but the hosts are members so we had full access. The location is excellent with tons to do in the surrounding area. My daughter was able to use the WiFi to work remotely all week without a problem, while the rest of the family ventured out on morning adventures. We highly recommend this location!"

"Property was as advertised and more. The owners only failure was not mentioning the wonderful smell of the pine scented air that hits you as soon as you step out of your car. Wow! Lots of big, deep breaths are recommended. In all seriousness, Tony was fantastic and helpful with anything that came up for us. Our stay couldnt have been any better and would highly recommend anyone to utilize this gem of a property."
