This ranch home is cozy tucked away in the fields but very close drive to freeways. Bernice was an excellent host and communicated with us promptly. The house interior has been wonderfully renovated and decorated. The home was clean and had supplies we needed. We’re very appreciative for this rental.

Overall the transaction was great. Bernice quickly answered our messages. Just like the heading states, it is a ranch house out in the country, but within a few minutes of stores and the highway. For us the location was perfect since we were visiting family in Caruthers and attending funeral services in Fresno and Easton. The home was comfortable with plenty of bedding, we went in the middle of winter so the house took a bit to warm up, it is a very old house but once it did, it stayed warm. Very nice job with the remodel!Only a couple constructive criticisms: We arrived at night and there was some crazy scary squealing outside, couldn't hear it indoors. The next day we discovered that they were most likely pigs. We were in a hurry to get to the church so we didn't explore the surrounding but saw the pens, so we concluded it was pigs! Maybe a little warning next time!The second is not so much criticism as more of a suggestion. We only stayed one night, had we stayed longer it would be nice to have things to do outside. Maybe a fire pit or BBQ grill. A playground for the kiddos would be fun!All in all, the place was great for us. We are originally from the area so we knew what to expect and were happy not to be in the city but still close enough!
