Hot Tub overlooks private field Southern Grace Cabin 5 Star CLEAN by Patoka Lake

Located south of French Lick and minutes from Patoka Lake, Southern Grace Cabin is a western red cedar log home located on a quaint lane in the middle of our several acre getaway. Panoramic views include woods, and rolling meadows. The custom built log home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a custom kitchen with new appliances, hot tub and fireplace. Solid oak wood floors and cathedral ceilings will welcome you as you walk about the cabin. We're sure you'll enjoy the views from the swing or wood rockers on our expansive covered porch (almost 300 sq. ft). Southern Grace Cabin is conveniently located within 2 miles of three Patoka Lake boat ramps: Painters Creek, Osborne, and Walls boat ramps. We welcome boaters and have plenty of parking space. We are also located within easy driving distance of French Lick, West Baden, Paoli Peaks, Marengo Cave, and Jasper.

Relaxing and Cozy

Great location to Patoka lake and French Lick attractions. Secluded and private cabin with all the amenities that a couple or small family would need. Rooms were spacious, kitchen well appointed, large refrigerator, and very large dining table. Plenty of room on covered porch as well has hot tub area. Hosts were very accommodating and communication was probably the best we've had within VRBO. Will stay again hopefully soon, and would highly recommend to anyone.

Best of cabin life

This is our second visit to this cabin with our grandchildren. The pictures don’t do it justice! The seclusion, abundance of wildlife, amenities in the impeccably clean cabin and close proximity to Patoka Lake, French Lick, and Wilstem Safari make for the best memories. The host’s thoughtfulness is felt throughout the cabin. You’ll be eager to visit in every season!

This cabin did not disappoint!!! It was immaculate inside with everything we needed. If you want a relaxing experience this is the place. We watched deer and turkey from the furnished covered porch for the country feel yet we were close to all that we needed!! Melanie and Kevin were the best in corresponding when needed!! The quiet, peaceful seclusion of the cabin was much appreciated. The beautiful field surrounded by woods was just beautiful. The cabin was impeccably clean, with all the comforts of home (and then some!). The beds were very comfortable, the board games enjoyed by all. The hot tub was so nice under the canopy of stars. And every one enjoyed the space both indoors and out. The close proximity to Patoka Lake Park and French Lick made for easy exploring. Lovely memories of time with family were made.

This was a quiet and relaxing stay. We enjoyed it immensely. Owners were very easy to contact and responded quickly. The house was very clean and well kept. We very much appreciated the clean hot tub-emptied and cleans after each stay. One thing is the phone service....we had none in the area-Certainly not the owners fault!! Just a heads up. Thank you!

2024 Total Solar Eclipse - Amazing getaway, unbelievable view of the sky

My friends and I planned about a year in advance to stay within the path of totality and finding this cabin was a godsend. Not only was the house fantastic, but the view was absolutely stunning. For the eclipse, we lucked out and got great weather to take in the once in a lifetime event with total privacy. And at night, the sky that was viewable was perfect for stargazing, with or without a telescope. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re wanting to find some private peace of mind and even more so if you’re looking to find some dark skies with an almost 360 degree view of the night sky.

The cabin was amazing. The view out of the back porch was great, seen 5 deer the first night, second nignt we seen 4 deer and a turkey. Owner was on top of everything and when I texted them they responded immediately. I will stay there again if I am up that way!
