Uncomfortable hotel
Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was still dirty from the last occupant. The temperature was very hot in the room, and the thermostat was broken.

The property was very nice, everything was updated and clean! The staff was very attentive to any questions or concerns. The only negatives were the 25 euro price for breakfast and the size of the rooms. The first night we were there we had a comfort plus room which was fine, we traveled a few days then came back and got a regular room. We barely had room to walk past the luggage and only one person at a time in the bathroom. Definately ask for comfort plus!

Such a welcoming breakfast area and delicious breakfast! We would’ve preferred traditional air conditioning, and a bit of a larger bathroom, but overall it was quite comfortable. Also, the bikes available were very nice. The staff were kind and helpful.

Super location
Great room, super bathroom and very eco friendly. Welcoming staff and good location for exploring Freiburg. Our dog enjoyed his walks and park is right opposite which is convenient. They have limited on site parking and you couldn’t book - we were lucky and there was space but would’ve been very annoying after a long drive. Would be good to be able to reserve.

Pros: Friendly staff got us our rooms early as our train came in before noon. Great breakfast Beds were comfortable. Our family toom had two bathrooms. Cons: Close to train station so not in the historic part of town. Split levels so elevator waiting is a bit for those woth limited mobility.

Hotel is close to city sights and train station. However, the receptionist attitude is unfriendly and cold. The family room we stayed had issues with shower and water temperature that would suddenly get too hot then cold...awful shower experience. A hotel should offer at minimum good shower and beds...very disappointed!!

Very nice room and close to Freiburg train station.It was an easy walk even with luggage.Excellent breakfast, accommodating staff . Room are smaller but standard for European hotel rooms. Room was nicely decorated, we had everything we needed.
