Great place for family!

We stayed a couple weeks ago with our family, with kids 6 and under. The house was clean and ready for us and amenities were great! The kids loved swimming and the hot tub, and exploring the property. Host was responsive and easy to get in touch with! She even mailed back a kindle we left. Would definitely recommend staying!

Beautiful place off the beaten path

House was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the large cooking area and the nice pool along with the fire pit. Beds were comfortable! Owner very accommodating! Definitely a nice place for a large family to stay!

Beatiful location!! - Highly recommend

My family (ranging from age 9 - 67) had a wonderful time. There was something for everyone. From fishing, to paddle boating to hiking to shooting pool and watching movies!! We had outdoor fires in the fire pit and soaking under the stars in the jaccuzi! This place had everything you need. Communication with the owner was excellent!!

Favorite Forest Retreat

The property is an amazing forest area-quiet and private. The cabin is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and beds allow for a great night’s sleep. We enjoyed the heated pool and had a wonderful fire in the pit. It exceeded our expectations!

Great Family ThanksMas!

My family that is spread out throughout the state all came together at this property for our annual ThanksMas. The property is nice, quiet and secluded. It is laod out well for a family getaway and get together! The owner was very helpful and responsive. We absolutely loved the place and plan on staying again! What an awesome place!

AMAZING. LOVELY. BEAUTIFUL!

If you're looking for a place for a family or friends getaway this is it!! We had the most wonderful time staying at Jennifer's cabin! We had a group of 10 (6 adults 4 kids) and they thought of everything a large group would need! There's plenty of space for people to sleep, lots of seating (inside and out) and so much to do on the property! They have swimming, a pond for fishing and kayaking, a hot tub, arcade games (a hit with the kids), a separate movie room, and the hiking in the National Forest that borders the property is a plus! It feels like it's own little patch of heaven and we couldn't have asked for a better time. THANK YOU!

Beautiful, Spacious Home with Amazing Amenities and Scenic Location!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay!! The open-concept main area was lovely, and the kitchen nicely stocked. The patio was a highlight, with a gas grill and plenty of seating, and we ate outside almost every meal! The heated pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our crew—being able to enjoy the pool even in cooler months like end of Sept/October is a bonus for sure! The bedrooms were also very comfortable, and we loved that every room had a king bed. The kids loved the bunk area as well!We spent a lot of time just taking in the peaceful surroundings, and relaxing in and out of the house. It’s also conveniently located just 25 minutes from Nashville which made for a scenic drive. This home truly had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We're looking forward to coming back!!

AMAZING getaway!

We were a group of 8 women who visited for a weekend in January. This home could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for and was one of the nicest vacation rentals I have ever stayed in! The cabin was very spacious (while still feeling cozy), and had every amenity needed to enjoy a weekend away. The three large king-sized bed bedrooms were lovely and the bunk beds were very comfortable too. The double fridge allowed us to store all of our food and we took advantage of home-cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen. There was even coffee! A must for our rental was a hot tub and the one at the cabin was a perfect 105 degrees upon arrival! Jennifer was a fabulous communicator and answered questions for us along the way. The cabin exceeded our already high expectations and we would love to go back in the summer when we can take advantage of even more of the outdoor amenities offered. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic Stay! Highly Recommended!

We loved our stay at The Lodge and had an amazing experience. The property is exactly as described, if not better. The pictures don’t do it justice, we were blown away! The space was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had the best time and felt right at home hanging around the house. The pool was a highlight, and we spent hours enjoying it. The lake nearby was absolutely beautiful. The home theater was another great feature, perfect for winding down with a movie at night. The master bedroom and guest rooms were excellent. The amenities were top-notch, everything from the kitchen appliances to the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The check-in process was seamless, and Jennifer provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Jennifer's place and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Unforgettable Reunion and Birthday Bash: The Ultimate Venue with Endless Fun, Spacious Comfort, and Incredible Amenities!

I booked this venue for a friend's reunion and surprise birthday party, and it exceeded all expectations! Jennifer was incredibly attentive to our needs and questions. The pool and hot tub were major highlights. We went hiking and also used the boat at the pond. I was initially concerned that there wouldn’t be enough space since most places I’ve stayed in Brown County have been small, but we had plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and there were numerous activities to enjoy. Between the hiking, boating, pool, fire pit, and game room, everyone was thoroughly entertained and had an amazing time! We also appreciated the kitchen + main area, which made it easy to host our group, featuring two ovens and a bar area and huge table to sit everyone at. I can see how much love and thoughtfulness went into this space. I will definitely book this place again; my wife is even planning to have her girls' trip here next year!

Such a fun cabin get away

Me, my wife, and another couple, stayed for just a couple days with our kids, but honestly, we wished we had more time because there was so much to do. The heated pool was awesome, and with the hot tub right there, me and the kids spent most of our first day in the water. My wife loves Nashville, it was my first time there, and I was really impressed. It’s a cool town, and it’s just a short drive from the cabin. We even got a head start on our Christmas shopping while we were there. The cabin itself was beautiful. The listing said it’s next to Hoosier National Forest, but I didn’t realize how the property is right up next to it, you can step out the door and walk straight into the forest. I spent a while just wandering around and taking in the scenery. Inside, the arcade room was awesome. There were so many games, the kids had no shortage of things to do when the sun went down. The kitchen was huge too with plenty of space in the fridges. We cooked a big meal on our first night, and it was super relaxing to cook while the kids played games and watched movies and then to enjoy dinner together in such a nice setting. It was a great trip, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The Perfect Place to Meet Friends!!

We met with friends for three nights at this beautiful property. Our group included 4 adults and 6 kids (age 5-10). It was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated!Bedrooms: The bedrooms were beautifully prepared, comfortable (!) and even the small details were meaningful. The primary is very large with a lot of floor space. We threw a Queen air mattress on the floor in there in case we had a kid in anting to come sleep in our room. Details such as a large tv and an elevated bed (so suitcases can fit underneath the bed) in we’re nice touches in the two other rooms! The two sets of bunk beds in the hallway were comfortable for the kids and even the adults! Each bunk bed had small details like shelves and an outlet that made them nice. Bathrooms: All bathrooms were modern, clean, stocked with supplies, and spacious. There was plenty to shelf space in all three bathrooms Play spaces: Our group used the clean hot tub (also had many towels for the hot tub!). We all played pool and the arcade games. The theater room was used for football games and a kids movie each night. We hiked the property, fished, played on the swings, and played in the spinning net. Kitchen: The kitchen was spacious, clean, included anything we needed, and had two dishwashers, two trash cans, two fridges, two stoves etc. We made great meals in there and the grill. Common areas: They were spacious, comfortable and had plenty of seating! Two sets of washers/dryers were great!

Lovely Getaway
