Don’t stay
The owner never communicated that property had been sold until the day before our arrival. I booked in June and they had 6 weeks to tell me. No communication at all until i texted and got the reply to cancel my reservation bc property had been sold. I am waiting for full refund.

Booked and was charged, then told it’s rented
We’ve stayed here before and loved the cabin. This time I booked and was charged. Messaged owner several times to no avail until I was charged. Then I got a message that it’s rented long term by someone. I messaged back asking for a refund and a cancellation. Crickets. Vic was great in the past with communication but this time was disappointing. I had to call my bank and put a stop pay on the payment for the stay I paid for. Still have not heard anything from owner 4 days later.

Peaceful camp just what we needed
We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the coming weeks. It was clean quiet and peaceful. The only complaint I would have is I wish it had a little big larger hot water heater as you have to take a quick shower. Also hopefully she will get the pier finished soon so you could sit out by the water! It’s a perfect spot for a couple or even a couple with 1 or 2 small children. Very peaceful and Vic was wonderful to respond to any questions.

Adorable cabin quiet and serene
Wow! This little cabin was perfect for two adults a dog and boat! Host was amazing, cabin is quirky and charming and exactly as listed. We loved the fire pit and the water view. We had everything we needed, a place to park the boat, great food nearby as well as boat launches. We will absolutely be back! If you’re looking for the Hilton; go stay there! If you’re looking for a cozy, chill, quiet place, with water, sun, and fun nearby; you need to book this listing! I can promise you may have a hard time finding an open date though because we plan on spending as many weekends there as we can. Thanks Vicki :)

This is the grossest place on the planet. I did not even get one foot in the door because I was hit with an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke . Left the property immediately and returned home. Owner Vicki would not refund. If this place was the setting for the tv show survivor nobody would win because nobody could even complete one night there
