This chic yet cozy getaway consists of two modern bungalows (separate structures), The Cape Guesthouse and The Backhouse @ The Cape, each offering unique amenities for a perfect stay in Fredericksburg.

The Cape Guesthouse:
This stylish bungalow features an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, one bedroom, one bath, and a bonus office nook. Enjoy the private backyard and patio, perfect for a comfortable stay whether you're dining in or exploring local eateries. Fully renovated in 2019, The Cape Guesthouse has been featured in Domino Magazine, Tribeza, and Apartment Therapy.

The Backhouse @ The Cape:
This charming bungalow offers a cozy living and dining nook, one bedroom, one bath, and a sleek kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of dishes and cutlery for enjoying takeaway meals. Built in 2019, The Backhouse @ The Cape has also been featured in Apartment Therapy.

Whether you're here to explore the finest restaurants and bars in the Hill Country or to enjoy a quiet meal at home, The Cape offers everything you need for a relaxing retreat. You will have exclusive access to both bungalows! Book now to create the perfect experience for your visit.

Other Things to Note:
Please note that there are two separate bungalows (The Cape Guesthouse and The Backhouse @ The Cape) on the same property, with a shared driveway and one dedicated parking spot per bungalow. With limited street parking. You will have exclusive access to both bungalows!

If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per pet. Please remember to inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

Family get together

We met my father in law in Fredericksburg for a weekend visit. Location was very good for places we wanted to visit. The two cottages were perfect for our needs.

Texas Wine Country

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. It was so clean, tastefully decorated and walking distance from main street Fredericksburg. The kitchen had everything you need and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Fredericksburg.
