Please note that this is a Dog Trot Style home. This means there is an open, outdoor walk way between the living room & the bedrooms. You would walk out onto the walkway to get to each room. The bathrooms are inside and connected to each bedroom.

This is a great location with close proximity to Main Street. This property was clean and just as described. The right size for two couples with all the amenities as stated. Will definitely stay again.

Super cute and in the heart of everything

This little house was just adorable, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Better, actually. I was pleasantly surprised that there was so much storage space. I was nervous about that since it was a small house. The main bedroom closet was huge for laying out all of our things, and there were lots of places to hang and lay out toiletries, etc. I have such anxiety about leaving stuff behind in drawers and cabinets, this was super helpful. The beds were super comfy, bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels and basic toiletries, pans in the kitchen were not scratched (don't use metal on nonstick, people. Let's keep these nice). The location was perfect. Easy to find, and in the heart of everything. We can't wait to come back. Only heads up that people might want to consider. There are three separate doors to enter each space along the breezeway. I thought it was cool, but sometimes entering the codes going back and forth got to be a bit much. I did love that each bedroom had a lounge space and TV with cable, but if you forget something in the main space, you have to go outside and enter codes to go back and forth. I also had a little anxiety about remember to lock everything back up. Not a dealbreaker for me, because the company was so professional, but it may be for someone else with families or travelers with mobility issues. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great Stay

This home was very comfortable and clean. The layout is quirky (as described) and works really well. Nice neighborhood. It was just 2 of us on a girl trip, so we each had our own room and bathroom. Worked out great and would definitely stay there again.

Love the quiet and coziness of the home, the home is very dirty. Spider webs on floor boards and walls, dust bunny’s under the bed, long hairs in the bed sheets. If the home was clean it would be 5 stars.

A Silver Rating!

The rental was just as described and we greatly appreciated the amenities and a new form of architecture. We laughed that in Nebraska going outside to reach your bedroom would be a deterrent, but not in Texas! A great deal of thought went into this restoration. Really enjoyed looking through your cookbook that adds such a personal welcome to your guests. Best, TADA

Quaint but Uncomfortable

Hard to review this way but honesty is best. Uncomfortable with the outside breezeway in an unfamiliar place. Felt we had to lock doors every time we went in and out of them. Couldn’t get comfortable with blind corners from the doors, always felt like someone may walk up on us. Maybe it’s just us! Anyway, tub did not drain, ants in tub, we left a day early and will not choose this place again.good thing there was a second bathroom to use and only 2 of us. It was represented online correctly, we should have chosen a different place to enjoy Fredericksburg!
