The highlight of your stay will be relaxing on the patio in the hot tub or chatting with friends around the firepit! Come enjoy this comfortable cottage and all Fredericksburg has to offer! Please note: Wood is not provided

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Loved our stay at Felsenhaus. Location was good. Firepit was so enjoyable. Had everything we needed. On a negative note tho, it needs a really good deep clean. Behind every blind inside the house were cobwebs and dead bugs. The living part of the house was clean!

Colorful, quiet, Fredericksburg Getaway

We were very comfortable staying in this lovely cottage in Fredericksburg. The place was exactly as the pictures, very clean with plenty of towels in the bathrooms and comfortable beds in bedrooms.The house was nicely furnished with plenty of room to spread out.We felt safe in the quaint neighborhood. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent accommodation and location

Two family members and I stayed for a long weekend in April 2025. The house was perfect and it was easy (for us) to walk the approximate 1 mile to the main business district for restaurants, bars, and shops. Everything we needed was supplied. Beautiful house and yard for lounging and we loved having a hot tub!

We loved staying in your VRBO! The house was awesome, very quiet neighborhood and the backyard was wonderful! Everything we needed was provided including a generous number of towels. It would have been nice to have access to a washer and dryer for longer stays. We loved the two nights we spent in Fredericksburg and would definitely stay in this property again.

Enjoyed the Felsenhuas

Our group really enjoyed our stay and Fredericksburg is a great locale. The neighborhood was quiet, the town was uncrowded. We especially enjoyed the firepit and out door areas.We hope to return again and enjoy Octoberfest. Our only recommendations would be to provide a torch/firestarter for the firepit and also please provide a few spices for cooking. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Rock House Review

Felsenhaus is a charming home in a charming town! My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law, went to Fredericksburg for the total eclipse. The minute we walked in the house, we felt at home! It's in a great little neighborhood close to the main street. The house is clean and comfy. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit and relaxing in the hot tub! We were very comfortable! All around we had a great time and hope to visit again!

Lovely place to stay!

The place was one of the nicest VRBO's I've ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and so inviting. All the lights were on and it was cool in temp when we arrived. Inviting! It was so well appointed with beautiful decorations and a lot of extras. They thought of everything! It was a lovely few days. *Neighborhood was off the beaten path and was quiet too. Nice!

House was well appointed and beautiful. Love the squeaky hardwood floors! Beds were comfy and bathrooms perfect. The outside was a bit run by the mosquitoes. Maybe put out some mosquito candles to burn. Also there was no lighter for the fire pit. Overall it was a relaxing stay.

Charming and Comfy 2nd time around

This is our second stay in this lovely and well stocked home. Easy to walk to town for dining and wine tasting, yet far enough to avoid hearing traffic. Met several friendly cats a few streets down that made the morning walks extra fun. Absolute Charm staff continues to be so helpful and friendly, immediately responding to a couple issues we had. Also appreciated the upgraded wine glasses provided since the last time we were here in November. We dined out most lunches and enjoyed cooking in with the well stocked kitchen. Only negative is that the antique door knobs were a nuisance this time; one was repaired as we arrived, but later, the knob to the master bedroom fell off. I think it may be time to upgrade to more modern door handles.

Lovely and comfy home

We loved so many things about this home: convenient location to walk into town for wine tasting/dining; quiet neighborhood; lovely colorful and tasteful decor, plenty of options for relaxing in comfy furniture inside or outside on the huge patio. We prefer dining out at lunch and cooking in for dinner, which was easy to do here. The agency was so organized, friendly, and responsive! In fact, we had a tire problem and AAA was not available in time, so one of Absolute Charm's staff rushed to our house with an air compressor to pump our tire so we could make it to the tire repair shop before it closed at noon on Saturday! That is special service! We are already booked to return to this same house in March. Many thanks!
