Perfect Location 3 miles fr Main St with Wildlife, Hot Tub and 2 King Bed/Baths

Perfect location for your getaway! 2 King Bedrooms with 2 On-Suite Baths. Enjoy the views and wildlife from the porch in the mornings (deer, birds, butterflies), and the epic sunsets and stars from the hot tub or fire pit in the evenings, while still being close to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife in town. Fully renovated and comfortably furnished, this open concept 2Bd/2Bth 1930's farmhouse sits on 5 acres in the center of it all. This red door darling is 3 miles from Main to the right (west) and 3 miles from the wineries on 290 to the left (east) and has fully equipped kitchen and a comfy living space with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. House and grounds are pet-friendly but not child-friendly so kiddo's must be 15 yrs or older. FYI: Because of the rural location driveway cameras are in use to assist us with guest arrivals and departures.

Our host was amazing! The home was incredible from the cleanliness to the calming and beautiful decor! Not only was the inside impeccably clean, so was the grounds. Everything is so carefully thought out. Everything you need away from home is there. Solid instructions are easily found for any possible questions you may have. And communication with our host was great and responds very promptly. Lighting to welcome us in for our late arrival was nice for security and safety. This host thinks of everything as though you are part of the family. Stay! You won't regret an excellent relaxing home!

Fantastic place

We enjoyed the stay. House was fully stocked with everything you could need and then some. Enjoyed the fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub. Plenty of out door areas to sit and relax and watch the sun come up or go down. Will be booking again on our next visit

Charming country cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. Kitchen is very well stocked, as well as the entire cottage actually. Owner left little niceties for us at checkin. We really enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, deer and wild turkeys that passed through the property each day. We found this cottage to be a very comfortable place to stay.

The house was beautiful and perfect for couples! A top pick for recommendations to anyone going to fredericksburg! The deer were amazing in the mornings and evenings!

Nice relaxing stay

It was the perfect place. It was nice and quiet and relaxing, but still close enough to town to go in for dinner and then to be out of the busyness of Main Street. It was great, it was in between the vineyards and downtown Fredericksburg.

Cozy and Quiet

The home is nicely furnished and pet friendly. Location is far enough out to have some peace and quiet but convenient to downtown Fredericksburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was so clean and they absolutely thought of everything! We were greeted with a sweet little welcome card, some cookies and a bottle of prosecco! The host was so accommodating! This is our new spot Everytime we come and visit now.

Wonderful Thanksgiving stay!

Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights during Thanksgiving. We enjoyed every moment in and out side the home. Kitchen had everything plus. Loved this little farmhouse so much!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with dog. Beautifully decorated home with every amenity. So enjoyed watching the deer and the birds as well as enjoying the hot tub.

The Perfect Stay

The house is open clean and cute. The bees, hummingbirds and other wildlife were so cute to see. The owners are great as well, they left me cupcakes & champagne for my birthday. I really enjoyed being here and I do recommend.

Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting on the porch and watching all the butterflies and birds. It is a lovely yard and setting with multiple seating areas. The house is great too and had everything we needed - and more.

Valentines weekend 2025

Absolutely wonderful stay. They have done a great job with the decor and amenities. The outside had everything you need for a couples retreat as well as the inside. Very quiet and peaceful. Host is very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed to enjoy our stay. She even had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for valentines weekend in the frig! We are already talking about when we will be back!

Best spot in Fredericksburg

We like to visit Fredericksburg a couple times a year. This was hands down our favorite place to stay! They allowed us to check in early and bring our dogs for no extra fees. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. They had all the conveniences you could need. And even left a welcome note with a bottle of Prosecco and Milano cookies (my favorite) in the fridge. I absolutely see why they have a 5 star rating!

Perfect country getaway

The home and property were amazing. It was perfect for 2 couples and had a fully fenced in yard area for the dog, who may have enjoyed it more than us!! It was remote, while still being close to everything. The home was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was just so wonderful seeing the deer every morning and afternoon at the feeder. It was just what we needed!

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay in the country. The house is super clean, well decorated, and organized with lots of information throughout the house. Location is easy access to Main Street but far enough out to feel relaxed and get away from the crowds of the city. Tara was a great host. We would stay again.

Perfect Getaway!!!

This place covers it all. They have everything you need for a weekend getaway. By far the best place we have stayed in with everything needed to enjoy. It is stocked and ready with all the amenities you need. Love having a fire pit to sit at and watch deer at the feeder, or soak in the hot tub and watch the deer walk by. When you are ready for dinner they have everything you need to cook up a nice meal. Couldn't ask for anything more at this place!!! Our 2nd stay here and we will be back!!!
