Great Cottage!

I stay at the Main Street Retreat often but this is the first time staying in Butterworts. I have to say it was a fantastic cottage. Great location and the room was the perfect size. Very comfortable bed!! I highly recommend this cottage!

Cozy get away!

My spouse and I stayed here for our 3rd wedding anniversary recently. It was very cute, great accommodations, hot tub was amazing and so relaxing. Wish it were closer to walk to town but a quick drive. Will definitely return!

Check out early due to neighbors were not quite, like I thought it would be.

Left early due to neighbors to noisy and couldn’t get the rest I needed and the hot tub and pool had too many leaves to be able to enjoy. Otherwise location was great for downtown.

Took a second to find the room but overall was an amazing experience. It was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my fiance. Hot tub and pool were clean, and getting into the room was easy as can be. Just a few blocks down from the main street so walking was easy! Convenient and Clean

Very nice place. Walls are paper thin and there is zero privacy from the bath and bedroom. You can hear and see everything. Very nice place but would prefer proper sound insulation.

24th Anniversary

Drove up and the are was well maintained. Grounds were lush. We spent the evenings in the hot tub after all the walking & shopping. It was very quiet & really couldnt hear the neighbors. We stayed in the Butterworts King Suite. AC was cold and was really nice to have a ceiling fan too. Bathroom was nice cause we had our own separate vanity/sinks. Only downfall was that the toilet isnt private cause theres no door...only haa set of french doors to the bathroom. Fridge was very cold... it keeps ice and the drinks had frozen while at the back of the fridge. We will definitely keep staying there because of the area and its close to downtown Fredericksburg.♥️

Cute Place

It was a very cute and clean place. It was my best friend and I on a girls trip so we did wish that the bathroom doors had blinds or curtains since the shower was right behind those doors. The only other complaint was the selection of channels for the TV. We had a really good time.
