We absolutely loved our stay at this location. It is exactly as described, very comfortable beds, cozy living spaces! The library is amazing. I could see spending a week just to relax and read. Well worth the price!
Adorable older home filled with antiques and super comfy beds! We were only there for one night but enjoyed our stay!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This was a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Main Street. It was really enjoyable in the evening, sitting out on the front porch with a glass of wine and enjoying the peace after a long day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed some evenings sitting in the hot tub drinking a glass of wine. The house was really clean and stocked for everything we needed.
Nice comfortable cottage in quiet neighborhood about 15 minute walk to Main St. Fully equipped kitchen including ice, Keurig and grind coffe maker, and a few treats from the host. Everything you need for a pleasant stay.
This beautiful cottage had everything for a good stay. Close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts thought of everything, and the decor was excellent. No problems here.
Such a lovely period cottage with all the antiques and décor in place. The location was close to town and easily within about a 15 min walk but driving and parking closer was easy as well. The cottage had everything we needed and communication was prompt. We loved our stay and appreciated staying in the blast from the past!!
We had a girls weekend get away with three three of us staying at the house. The house is very charming. My only complaints were the hot tub had a smell to it and the water looked a bit cloudy and the keurig resivuior
Our stay was great. The neighborhood was quiet. The bedrooms were separate so each couple had privacy. Plenty of room to not feel cramped with 4 people.

Quaint and SO Interesting
We really enjoyed our stay! Comfortable and so interesting. We just kept finding treasures we would research for more info. My husband really loved the old books on the shelves. He found one from 1887. We researched a piece in the back living room to find it was an intricate antique tea caddy. Thanks so much for the relaxing and interesting stay!
Met my daughter and family for a quick visit. Shopped Main Street and some “off Main shops”. SO much fun!!!
Texas Sunrise and Otto were our fav restaurants!! So accommodating and delicious!
Cottage as described, peaceful, and hot tub was a PLUS! Accommodations perfect!!
We loved this property. It was cozy and in a quiet neighborhood far enough from the live music on main street and close enough to make getting downtown a breeze. The hot tub was so relaxing at night in the cool weather with a beautiful star-filled sky thanks to the lights-out ordinance of Fredericksburg. My wife and I stayed in the secondary bedroom because it was closer to the back of the house and felt it'd feel more secluded. Also, we loved that parking was secure in the backyard rather than leaving our car up front or on the street. I'd definitely recommend this charming house to any adults on a getaway. I'd caution against having kids though with all the lovely antique displays.

Good
When we arrived there was a lot of water on the floor that came through the back door from the rain , if we had not been observant could easily have fallen, would hate for someone to get hurt in the future. also the microwave was not working, which was an inconvenience, Everything else was good, we had stayed with you before , so this was some what disappointing,
We had a great time at Holly’s haus! It was our first visit to Fredericksburg, and I wanted the complete experience. The house, built in the 1920s, looked even older due to its decor and vibe. Unfortunately, we didn't experience any ghosts, which was a good and bad thing. Lol. The beds were comfortable. The only issue we encountered was the TV; it didn't work the first night because the instructions said not to turn the system on and off. We followed the instructions, but I tried turning the system on and off the next day, and the TV worked. The house was a bit farther from Main Street than expected, but overall, it was a wonderful experience.
I stayed at Holly's Haus with my friend a year or two ago. It was a perfect floor plan for two people. I decided to work from Fredericksburg for a little over a week, and decided to stay here again. There is a bit of a difference when you stay a few days and are out and about, and a week when you are in the house more time. The porch is delightful! I had coffee and lunch there every morning. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. is well-stocked. The decor is just what you want to feel in Fburg! My only suggestion is that they consider updating the mattresses and pillows, along with a number of wood chairs in the dining area. It was hard to find a comfortable chair to sit in these areas, and I lifted one and the legs fell out of the joint.
The home was quaint and cozy and my family felt instantly comfortable. We brought along our two Frenchies who typically hate traveling, but they too felt instantly comfortable. We liked that we were able to close off the driveway with the cattle wire and that the dogs had the run of the whole property. My dogs were able to locate one hole in the fence right off the driveway, but the rest of the fencing is secure. The beds were comfortable enough for a restful sleep. The home was well stocked and had just about everything one could need, with the exception of a broom/mop or vacuum, or access to laundry. There were plenty of linens throughout the home. Having coffee in the morning on the porch and reading were some of my favorite moments at this house.
Overall, this home is an excellent choice if you're looking for a charming, historical home near Main St, in a safe and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors! It was definitely our home away from home!

Good stay
We did have a good stay just a few things need attention. The mattress on the bed in the front bedroom needs replacing. It is shaped like bowl and is very very uncomfortable. The sting lights over the hottub had many lights burned out or missing. The security light on the back patio would not stay on longer than a few seconds. So we could not leave it on to see to the door when we returned. It rained most of the night one night and there was water on the kitchen counter and a large wet spot on the kitchen rug by the refrigerator. We could ot figure where it came from. The second night there was water on the wood floor in front of the back door and it is coming in around the door the side where the hinges are. It was a quiet house and neighborhood, and we enjoyed it. I just wish we could have slept better on the bad mattress.
Thanks,Glenda
Cozy and vintage charm, TV could use some upgrading to smart TVs and the motion light outside the room went off lots and pet fee is high. We loved the hot-tub and location close to town.

Holly's House
Loved our stay at Holly's House it is so charming like a step back in time. Loved the front porch, hot tub worked great, plenty of space for four having the two bathrooms were a plus. A few minute drive to Main St or a 15 minute walk. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Loved the wine bottle gift upon check in.
Everything about the property was great and the house was perfect for us. It's in a good location and has all that you need for a very pleasant stay in Fredericksburg.
