A beautifully remodeled kitchen, and spacious living area complete with a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the Cottage and a completely renovated Mimi's Haus are just a few of the features that this stunning property. While the interior of the Cottage and Mimi's is a dream, the outdoor living space is a dream come true! Relax by the lavish outdoor rock fireplace while preparing the perfect meal on the gourmet built-in propane grill. Plenty of seating allows for a group to gather, relax and recall memories from the past! Flint River Whole Property will be your repeat destination in Fredericksburg!

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. Perfect Reset!

We would absolutely stay here again. What a lovely place to enjoy nature and reset your nervous system! The kids caught lots of fish in the river and the adults enjoyed watching the cows, turkeys, deer and birds. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing. The house had everything we needed plus comfortable beds. It was a perfect getaway.

Property is beautiful, well stocked and we loved the outdoor fire pit. Clean and check in was easy. Wifi essentially did not work so we were unable to watch TV (football) over the Thanksgiving holiday, which was very disappointing given the daily rate. I texted the owner but not much could be done. Queen bed off of bathroom needs to be replaced.

Relaxing 40th birthday getaway

This was a beautiful property that provided our group of 10 with a serene setting while we spent time together. We loves sitting on the porch in the morning watching the deers come in to feed. We also enjoyed relaxing, aftera day in downtown fredericksburg, in the hot tub.Grilling dinner wa so easy with the amenties available to us.... outdoor grill, seasonings, plenty of untensils... it was a true retreat at Flint River. We already have a plan to make this an annual trip!

Hill Country Retreat

My family had a wonderful time staying hers. We have a big family and it’s hard to find a space where we can all stay together. This place was perfect. We loved the beautiful yard for the kids to play in and the lovely country charm. It’s in a great location if you want to go to wineries. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay. I had a miscommunication with one of the absolute charm employees over the number of people that could stay and the VRBO page promised a community pool. We found the property to be unbelievably cool and relaxing. We loved it. I broke 2 drinking glasses while there, sorry. Also noticed a dining chair in the main house was very rickety. I would love to return sometime soon!! I believe we left a bag and we want it sent. I will call.
