Cyclismo - Suite 2 | Close to Main St. | Wonderful Porch

Two luxury suites are available in this turn of the century Victorian Home located just two blocks south of Main Street, and overlooks Barons Creek. Shopping, restaurants and churches are within easy walking distance. As you can tell by the name of the home, your host is a cycling enthusiasts and even offers bike storage to his guests. The suites are decorated elegantly and with a modern flair. Your host has collected much of the art work and decorator items through his years of travel.

Upstairs (Suite 2)
A large suite upstairs is both comfortable and graciously elegant. A queen bed is in the bedroom and the bath has a clawfoot tub with handheld shower. The living room's love seat is placed to enjoy the flat screen television.

The kitchen is fully equipped with range/oven, small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. A glass table is comfortable for four people. Just outside the suite is a long porch... perfect for relaxing and visiting. Comfortable seating areas are on the porch.

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.

Great Place, Great Host

The house is in a perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. Frank is an exceptional host and the place is comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated.

Fantastic Place

This place was close to everything Main Street within walking distance. Host lives on site and was great to talk to and get recommendations of what to see/eat. The bed is so comfy! Will definitely stay again when we visit.

Relaxin' in F'burg

My hubby and I enjoyed our very chill stay in this lovely property, within walking distance of Main Street and Rockbox Theater where our concert would be held. We really had a nice time just sitting on the upstairs covered porch, listening to music, snacking, and quaffing our bevs. Kitchen and frig were nicely stocked and the bed comfy. Thank you for a great quick vacay!

Great way to see Fredericksburg

This place was perfect for my husband and I as we visited Fredericksburg for a few days. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. We slept well on the comfortable bed with great pillows. The owners supplied it with all kinds of nice goodie’s and samples. I highly recommend staying here.

Comfortable and close to everything

My husband and I spent a weekend here and had the best time. Linens and bed were super comfortable. I was unsure of the sprayer in the tub but it worked out great and had wonderful water pressure (I have thick hair and need good pressure to get conditioner out lol). The house is two blocks from Main Street. We walked everywhere this weekend. It was perfect! We would definitely stay again.

Great place, great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cyclismo 2. The place was fully and comfortably furnished with little snacks and travel items available for use. The bed was extremely comfortable with great smelling linens. The location was ideal as many great restaurants and coffee shops, as well as the main shopping strip, were within a short walk. We never had to drive to places we wanted to go. The owner that lived on site was very friendly and accommodating! Check in and out process was a breeze. We would stay there again!

Phenomenal experience.

Place was clean and nice. Frank was great. Probably the coolest touch was all the DVDs you could watch. Everything was within walking distance. The best bar in town (Lincoln st.) is just a block or two away. The 290 shuttle picks up just a few blocks away. This place was seriously perfect and we're definitely coming back!

Cozy Oasis

My husband and I stayed here for a double birthday/anniversary/mom and dad getaway. As mentioned by others, Frank is great. My husband loved talking to him about cars and cycling. Beautiful, colorful spot to stay. As a host, Frank absolutely goes above and beyond with the small touches and big ones. Loved looking through the guestbooksn at the 15+ years of positive comments from folks from all over the world.

The Cyclismo Room 2 apartment (2nd fl) was very spacious, clean & comfortable, with a kitchen, LR and porch! FYI to anyone with mobility issues: get one of the ground floor apartments. The stairs to our rooms were steep, the claw foot tub has no railings or shower curtain, & shower head must be hand held.

Great weekend stay

This is a great location in what has become an even better place to get away. Fredericksburg has really exploded in terms of restaurants and music, both of which we enjoyed without having to move our car. And right around the corner was a nice HEB. And that's without even giving kudos to the great place itself. It is wonderfully curated with art and articles from around the world. We took advantage of the large balcony to sit in the swing and watch the rain. It had a very European feel, but with all the modern conveniences that we needed. Could not have had a better place for the 5k race we were in town for. Walked to and from it as well. A real hill country gem!

Awesome stay!!

This was the perfect place to stay, as my husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday. The location is just off of Main Street with access to several restaurants and shops. The unit was immaculate!! Lots of colorful decor and the claw foot tub is a great addition to the space. Little bowls of international candies can be found throughout the living room and chocolate bars and cookies in the fridge, as well. Out back is a green space where deer can be spotted in the morning as they run across the creek that flows behind the property. Frank, the owner, has anything and everything you could need. He lives on property, so he is there for you during your stay. He is super friendly and greeted us when we arrived, even though it was later in the evening. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!! Thank you so much Frank!!
