Located just 6 blocks from Main Street, Sweet Emmy's is a must see & stay vacation rental! The gleaming hardwood floors greet you, and beckon you into this fabulous 1935 home! Modern amenities abound inside from the full kitchen with granite counters, two full bathrooms with walk-in showers going outside to the bubbling hot tub, and gas grill! Yet all still keeping the quaint charm that is Fredericksburg! One stay and you will be hooked!

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Birthday celebration

We enjoyed our Fredericksburg visit. We hsd great food and beautiful weather. The house needs some love, important doors don’t close properly, all mattresses need replacing. We enjoyed the dining and living room. The large shower was nice. Good,accomodations but could be Great !!

Really nice

This was a great little place for my two grown daughters and I to have a mother daughter get away in Fredericksburg. Cute house, quiet neighborhood, close to downtown and all things FBurg. Would stay again. We were having a hard time using the keurig, they delivered a new one right away.

Family vacation

Family Christmas Vacation

This property was exactly as described. Plenty of room for my family of 6. The hot tub was a plus especially during this season. Conveniently located to everything! We loved our time there and would definitely stay there again.

Plenty of room for six

There was four of us and there was plenty of room in the living room and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and both the bathrooms were clean and had been remodeled. Kitchen was nicely set up for cooking. The front porch was plenty big enough for all of us to enjoy our coffee or wine. Location is fairly near downtown, four or five blocks.

Getaway to Fredericksburg

Based on the description, we assumed the home was a short walk to Main Street but with the heat, the mile walk one way was a bit much. But the neighborhood is quiet and a great place to get away and unwind. It is quaint and clean.

Good kitchen, good location

We were in Fredericksburg for the April 8, 2024 eclipse. Unfortunately, the sky was completely cloudy. But the house and the location were good. We were just less than a mile's walk from downtown and a coffee place, and the kitchen and dining area were roomy and easy to use.

Cute little house

We stayed for a few days celebrating our sons birthday weekend. Cute little house and town. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. Only problem was the windows didn't lock. Was in what seemed a safe neighborhood, it's just something I always check when staying somewhere.

Home interior was adequate and comfortable. It's a lovely home, built 1930. Temperature controls were very good. TV/firestick worked fine. Towels and silverware were limited for the number of guests, but everything was clean and enjoyable. Exterior of home was very dirty and not very enjoyable - furniture cushions dirty and covered with cat hair; house and porch were dirty and dusty. Back patio was so dirty we didn't even try to enjoy it.

Sweet Emmy’s Haus

We are 3 women who have been close friends for 30 years. We’ve come to Fredericksburg for our annual Girl’s trip the last 3 years. This has been our favorite by far! The bedrooms were perfect. The kitchen well equipped and had some special treats as well. We will be coming back this fall. One suggestion - the LR accent chairs are quite uncomfortable. We tend to sit and chat most of the time and a soft comfy chair would really enhance the stay. Otherwise, the perfect little house for us. Thanks. See you in November. We’re now meeting twice a year.

Our experience was good at sweet Emmys. We loved that this home had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The location to Main Street was an easy walk so it was very convenient to downtown and its attractions. We loved having the hot tub too. The beds were also very comfortable. These are the areas that we felt could have be improved on. Better stocked kitchen. Not enough flatware. We did not have any butter knives and the rest was minimal. We cooked most of our meals so I was glad I brought some things from home to cook with. We were only given 3 bath towels and they were very thin. We had to hang our towels and swimsuits in the bathroom with the heater to get everything to dry. Just getting them to dry was a challenge so we were surprised there was not a washer and dryer. I was glad I brought my own towels for the hot tub. The smoke alarm kept going off even though there was no smoke from the oven or the stove. You might want to check on it. We did have some trouble with the front door code for entry. Sometimes we had to try many times before it would open.
