Treehouse type cottage in private location - Pet friendly!

Looking for peace and quiet for your NH vacation? We have it here at Pemi Shore Cottages.

I have a completely furnished private 2bd/1ba cottage not far from water on a wooded hill with a great view. We call it the 'Tree House Cottage'. Has stairs to come down to the beach or you can drive down.

This cottage has full-size beds, gas heat, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, AC, microwave, outdoor grill, outdoor fireplace, and access to our 90 foot private beach and boat ramp. There's also a row boat, kayak, and paddle boat for you to use, no charge. Pets are very welcome (no fee!), 2 per cottage included, and dog sitting may be available (ask us!).

We also don't charge a cleaning fee, assuming you bring your own linens (default). Optionally, we can provide linens for a $50 cleaning fee at check-in. If you can let us know before arrival, they'll be ready for you.

Great fishing, water skiing and swimming on the Pemigewasset River in a secluded location without all the tourists! Extremely private. Close to the Franklin Falls dam and its 3900 acres of scenic trails!

Only 4 miles from Rt. 93 (exit 22), 2 miles to grocery stores and only 6 miles to the popular Tanger outlet stores in Tilton.

The Pemi Shore Cottages are seasonal and open May 15th - Oct 15th. 20% discount for weekly guests and return weekly guests get legacy discount pricing!

Memorial Weekend

Had a wonderfully time here ! Place and location were absolutely beautiful! John was a great host as well and the cabin was very comzy. The Franklin Dam was visible right from the outside patio and right down the street as well. Would 100% recommend and come back .

What an Amazing Place!!! We stayed in the "Treehouse Cottage" it was such a cool spot up in the pine trees! We felt like we were out in the woods all by ourselves yet only a 2 minute walk to the river/beach. The fire pit and grill are located perfectly so you can grill while have a nice fire going. The cottage was very bright peaceful, I really loved the knotty Pine. We also had great views of the Franklin dam from the balcony. Cant wait to come back again, relax enjoy nature and hopefully catch the big bass 8 had hooked but lost.

The property is a little piece heaven; private from neighboring cottages with a gorgeous view through the trees off the deck for morning coffee/afternoon snacks and easy access to the private beach. A private hammock, fire pit and picnic table next to the cottage was an extra bonus. Proximity to local outdoor activities and restaurants was excellent. John answered questions promptly before the trip and was there to greet us upon arrival. The check out process was just as easy. Thanks for a great getaway!

Awesome Visit

Booked this beautiful little cottage with me my wife and our two dogs. Location is perfect this time of year for a relaxing stay. Very dog friendly lots of hiking and beautiful scenery. Met a very lovely mother and daughter with there dogs Ranger & Bacchus. Will definitely be back !!

Great cottage!

My husband, two young kids and dogs had a great time at the cottage. The cottage was clean and fully stocked with comfortable beds, in a nice private area with private water front beach access. The dogs were welcome throughout the property and were even allowed to swim on the beach. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I loved our stay! The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. We had a beautiful view from the Tree House Cottage and a very short walk down to the beach. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. There were also hiking trails very close by that we explored with our dog. This is a truly pet friendly property! We’ll be back next year!

Nice getaway

Only possible negatives were the access to the water wasn't the best and the wifi was inconsistent but it is a nice getaway and I would stay here again. The grill and hammock were nice and the cottage was a fine roof over our heads. The owners and neighbors seem like fine people too.

NH Fall Vacation

This was an awesome place to stay and unwind. John was a great host and helped us get settled in quickly. It was nice that he provided a boat, kayak, and paddle boat to enjoy the river with. This location is very quiet and relaxing. All the conveniences of a small town are just a short easy drive away. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone.

A great getaway!

My boyfriend & I stayed at the Pemi Shore Cottages for 2 nights and it was exactly what we was looking for. Privacy in a wooded area with a quick walk to a beach? What more can we ask for :). We brought our two dogs and even that was a great accommodation! Our host John was super friendly and just one call away! I would highly recommend this location if you want to disconnect and relax.

Accommodating Hosts and spectacular views

The cottage was as described and shown in the listing. On our first day we had issues with heat (both hot water and heating) but John was more than accommodating and had us shifted to another cottage immediately and he in fact bought us lunch for the inconvenience (thank you John!). Our second day of stay was perfect without issues. They have a private beach with boats which you can use. I would recommend booking with them directly.

Fishing fun

Cute cabin up on a hill with a walk to the beach area. We had access to a row boat which we used for fishing. Disappointed no dock to fish off of. Would recommend to bring your own boat or kayak. The water was warm with a small sandy beach

Just what we needed!

We enjoyed our 2 night mini break at the Treehouse at Pemi Shore Cottages. The cabin was delightful and the beds were very comfortable. Our cabin sits up high so it was like being in a tree house. The outdoor lighting at night was very cute! Our host John made sure we got settled in and was available if we needed him. This was our first overnight for our 2 year old puppy and he had a great time. He went swimming in the river on the property's private beach area and had a grand time. Thanks so much!

Rustic Cottage is Accurate

Negatives: Overall the cottage was pretty much as advertised as far as rustic and dated. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. Although, the owners do not charge a cleaning fee so that is the offset. The cottage smelled like wet dog and the sliding door had wet dog nose prints all over it (they do advertise as pet friendly so it was to be somewhat expected).The bathroom smelled strongly like urine all around the toilet area. The shower was too small for my 6'4" and 6'6" husband and son, which is typically a problem anyway. Many of the stairs leading to the water were broken so it was a treacherous walk down. Positive: The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The owners were friendly at check in. The water was lovely to swim in. With one AC and the ceiling fans on it was comfortable to be in the cabin as every day we were there was above 90 degrees. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again and left a day early.

This was a quick stop (2 nights) before meeting up for a big family vacation. Cottage was perfect. It was exactly as described, pet friendly and we were able to enjoy a couple breweries and winery all nearby. John is an excellent communicator and we were happy we booked here.
