This house was designed to appeal to many scenarios, it could be a family getaway, or a week of peace and quiet from that demanding job, Maybe that second honeymoon, one thing for sure the children will love playing in the river. It serves as a hub for day trips to numerous sites and events that make a week disappear all too quickly.

This open plan vacation home sits right on the Cullasaja River. This home can sleep 6 people with its 3 bedrooms 2 and 1/2 baths. The main level has cathedral ceiling, sliders open to a large deck, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, dining/living area with electric fireplace for chilly nights. Master bedroom has queen bed and private bath with tub/shower.

The mid level has 1 Bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bath with shower. The lower walkout level sets you right along the river bank and offers wonderful family/game room with pool table, games, TV and DVD player. It also has a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping and an electric fireplace to keep warm.
Amenities include: Central heat and air, ceiling fans, Laundry facilities, 3 TV's with DVD player, microwave, dishwasher, outdoor furniture and grill. Also free Wifi and domestic long distance is included

We had a wonderful stay at Harry’s house. This was our third summer and we can’t wait to come back next year. Harry is a wonderful host and makes the house feel like a home. The kids had so much fun splashing and tubing in the river. This home is the perfect location and we were able to explore so much around western North Carolina.

Absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful place to stay. We relaxed by the river and caught a few trout and fried them for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Mr. Miller was very pleasant and greeted us when we arrived. We will definitely stay again.

Great location right on the Cullasaja River! Open the doors and you can hear relaxing sounds as it rushes by. Nice house with good space.

Perfect Getaway

We have stayed here numerous times. My family loves the house and practically live in the river. Smores around the firepit and chasing fireflies is a perfect way to end the night.

Another Memorable Stay

This was our third stay at this lovely property. Love waking up to the sound of the river. The location is perfect. Close to grocery stores, eateries, etc. The home is clean and very well appointed. A home away from home.

Refreshing and welcoming mountain stay

The Bubbling River was a highlight to a lovely stay. The house was very clean, and well stocked with ample space for two couples. The owner was polite and quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed cooking in, as well as the close proximity of excellent restaurants. Close to waterfalls and other attractions.

Fall Getaway!

This home is perfect. I love the location by the river and the back porch for morning coffee. We went to the great Smokey National Park for a hike and also saw beautiful fall colors. There is plenty of room in this home for everyone. I can't wait till June to come again!

Very relaxing!

This home was wonderful!. Fully stocked - from the kitchen to the laundry room and bathrooms- from cookware and dishes ,to cleaning products and soaps ,linens and towels. We loved the upper and lower back porches to view the relaxing river. The young people enjoyed the game room and tubing on the river. The beds slept good . We came away very refreshed and hated to leave. Would love to go back again!

Mountain paradise

We had such a wonderful time and loved this rental house. My family of 5 along with my mother stayed at this house and it was so roomy. We had other family in town and had them for dinner and there was plenty of seating and room for all. Coffee on the porch each morning with the slightly cool temps(60s), tubing in the river, afternoons playing games and evenings by the fire. This house has it all and the owner was so friendly and easy to work with. We had so much fun that we ended up extending our stay. The location is perfect and we can’t wait to return next year! It’s a hidden gem and I only wish we found it sooner.

Beyond Expectations!!!

Great property, we had a great time. My boys, 13 and 17 could not have had a better time in the game room. Listing includes pool table, but there is also an air hockey table, darts, chess boards, cards, some board games and even basket ball goal. They had a blast! My oldest enjoyed fishing in the river, he even caught a few. The view from both decks is amazing and the peaceful sound of the river was a great way to start or end the day. Don't hesitate to rent this great find. Mr. Miller was a great host.we would love to stay again.

Another wonderful family vacation

This was our third time staying at the house, and this year, staying in the summer rather than late autumn. The place is loved by our family and they already want to go back! This year was the first time we used the tubes to go down the river and it was so much fun. The house as always is immaculate, with every modern convenience you could want to entertain a growing hungry family. This stay was special to us as we had the pleasure of meeting Mr Miller, the owner. He is a wonderful gracious host who works so hard to make sure your stay is perfect. If you need a home-from-home to get away with your family or just your spouse, this is the place to stay! We love it, and can't wait to return, there are other places we looked at but comparing amenities, location, distance to stores, and the idyllic setting etc. there is no better place. You will not be disappointed.
