"Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Easily accommodated our group with lots of beds/bathrooms for a crowd of non-couples focused on participating in a 3 day on water training. At one point the power went out due to a downed tree. Great communication with the owner and quick service from Duke Power solved the problem rapidly without even denting our schedule."

"This home was wonderful!. Fully stocked - from the kitchen to the laundry room and bathrooms- from cookware and dishes ,to cleaning products and soaps ,linens and towels. We loved the upper and lower back porches to view the relaxing river. The young people enjoyed the game room and tubing on the river. The beds slept good . We came away very refreshed and hated to leave. Would love to go back again!"

"The view over the U-Pick farm was outstanding. Deer would come down the hill and on to the farm every night right after dusk. The cabin was so clean and very cozy. It is a quiet area. The screened in porch that overlooks the farm was spectacular with a view of the mountains. We had our coffee out there every morning and finished the evening with dinner as well. We have found our perfect vacation spot! "

"Great location and many really nice amenities included that were thoughtful and very welcoming. Creek sounds were relaxing and added to the ambience. Bed was very comfortable. The screened porch was surprisingly large for the size of the cottage. We hope to return. Great hiking and waterfalls and vistas so close to the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay"

Sitting on the deck and listening to wind through the trees is serenity indeed. Walking the property and feeding cows Daisy and Tulip in the cool mountain air is a very relaxing experience. "Our Labor Day weekend stay was fantastic. Communication from the host before, during, and after our stay was excellent. The tri-level floor plan makes the top two levels best for folks who like to share space. The basement level offers a separate cozy space. Bonus points for well stocked kitchen, good internet, spacious decks, and seclusion in a beautiful area. The 8 mile curvy road leading to the cabin gets shorter and more comfortable each time we drove the 25 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor...
