Lake St Clair Lodge

Lake St Clair Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Our cabin was mostly clean apart from a few dust webs that only showed up when the lights were on. All the important surfaces, (benchtop/shower/toilet) were spotless. Bed was comfortable and warm. Lovely lass in the reception/cafe/dining area of the lodge pretty much doing everything as it's 'off season' so very quiet. Had a lovely chat with the owner, Michael, before dinner re his history at the lodge and his signature branded rum, gin, wine etc. The lodge is very welcoming with a warming fireplace, antiques and leather chairs adding to the alpine ambience. Well worth a stay in you are in this area."

"Sensational place if you want to sit around and relax - it’s our go-to place! I wanted to say, it’s terrible, don’t go, so it remains quiet but it is so nice, it deserves to be fully utilised. The staff work SO hard and they are really nice. Enjoy the drive, enjoy the lookout and dam, but mostly enjoy the peace and quiet!"
