"A very clean, tidy and comfortable 3 star hotel that I surmise is family owned and possibly operated. I stayed out of season in April and it was very quiet. The breakfast is continental: mini croissants and viennoiserie ( chocolate and fruits), chocolate biscuits, fruit juices, cappuccino, espresso, cakes, tarts and tiny packs of Italian toast to enjoy with excellent butter and jams. "Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

"Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe "
