"The room was very spacious it had a small balcony, a kitchenette which was a bit small but manageable and a hot tub which was round and accommodated more than 1 person, it was luxurious to use. Walkable to town, a bit noisy on the main road and we only saw 1 staff member who was pleasant but we did have to go away for an hour till the room was ready, which was already past the 2pm arrival time, but it was worth the wait."

"Kitchen and restaurant staff were definitely not attentive. No coffee until we told them, no toast bread until we told them, no milk until we told them etc. Not good considering the price. Seriously understaffed. I would never stay there again. "

"Lovely, clean property with all the amenities you could hope for for a family holiday..We were there for a couple of nights, which could have been extended with ease.Only comment that may be of use for those with mobility or sight issues (we had elderly relatives visit) is that like many baches, the floor was uneven and may be a trip hazard. This is unlikely to be a big issue for families with active kids who will enjoy this property and all it offers.Would definitely rebook if revisiting Foxton Beach."
