"Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. "We have been country members of Tain Golf Club for twenty years. If you haven't played Tain, please put it on your next itinerary! We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us."
