Good for overnight

This was a one night stopover. Cheap and cheerful. We ate evening meal and breakfast and both were good. Room was functional and clean. Hotel was dated but served its purpose. Staff were friendly.

Stopped overnight on the way across France. Got a late dinner (very good) and early breakfast (mediocre). Becoming a bit run down with age but still good value for money. I didn't go there, but there is a big shopping center (with a MacDo) very nearby.

Hotel basic stopover

This is base for the night . Clean , comfortable and basic . I thought I would share our experience with finding a restaurant in walking distance . The location is not great for walking out into town as there are no paths . We did manage to walk via industrial shopping area but there was a group traveller camping in a disused car park . In daylight okish but after dark would not want me to walk about. We did make into the town centre on foot in 30 minutes walk but decided to get an uber back . We only found 2 restaurants that were not fast food chain or takeaway. We did eat in a small local restaurant in the end- it was friendly and great value . There other restaurants near the hotel but again KFC, of other fast food . The hotel has a restaurant so might be safer to eat there .

Good location

Great for an over night stay after a long drive from the Alps to be close to the tunnel the next day. Rooms are basic but very clean and tea/coffee making facilites. The breakfast the next day was very good, great choice of everything

Fine for a travel stop but near a main road its a prefab construction so you can hear the road and anybody talking outside very easily.

A good combination of facilities, food and price.

Booked Campanile as I like the restaurant to be included. Almost exactly as expected. Large, clean, comfortable bed. Adequate room and bathroom, although I would prefer walk-in shower rather than one over the bath. Friendly staff and good evening meal and breakfast. Great buffet choice.

Brillaint stop off hotel in france after a long journey for the value of money. My stay was pleasant. staff was great and nice. Has nice outside seating chillout area,we fot a macdonalds and our own beer and wer allowed to chill out.value for money is fantastic.parking is great. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Only drawback is shower glass panel trim needs changed but apart from that its great place.

Never again

We stayed here after a late night ferry crossing to Calais. Arrived at around 1am. The woman at check-in was lovely and friendly, gave us the key, we paid our tourist tax and headed off within minutes - which was much appreciated after a long journey. The room however, a strange building in motel style outdoor corridors, rooms have low ceilings so feel quite claustrophobic, metal shutters on the outside for privacy, bed pretty uncomfortable, pillows were terrible (had our own in the car luckily) - shower was ok, carpet felt filthy, felt pretty creepy once the lights were out - it did the job for a five hour snooze and get the hell out of dodge. We also saw a little baby roach on the wall of the bedroom in the morning - which wasn’t the most pleasant experience. Overall, nice staff - horrendous rooms.

Good Location for an overnight

Stayed here three months ago and as such we were happy to return, however we were disappointed with our stay this time, restaurant was only able to provide limited pizzas and limited soft drinks, one pizza was over done (crispy cheese) and the other came out 5 minutes later and no coca cola !!!, not sure what has happened, perhaps new management ?? Otherwise clean and handy for an overnight.

What has happened to the campanile hotels.

We have stayed many times in a campanile including Bethune. It has changed completely. No buffet or even a menu in the evening of which we didn’t know about prior to coming. Coffee machine was broken at breakfast. The basin was cracked in the bathroom. There was a very pungent cleaning smell in the room which caused breathing problems to the point that I had to sleep with a mask on. At 1.30 in the morning there was very loud music being played outside in the car park. Edwin was a very friendly member of staff.

Rien à redire sur la chambre ou l'accueil. Le tarif était correct. Il y a plusieurs lieux pour dîner aux alentours. Plutôt facile d'accès en tram. Comme ce n'est pas un bâtiment récent, l'escalier est assez etroit et l'insonorisation limitée. Ce n'est pas forcément grave mais il vaut mieux le savoir
