"The Amuarama Hotel is spacious with live greenery everywhere, a nice pool, a large rotating staff always ready to help (English not strong though). The front desk does not make change even from a 50 real note ($10), and the local ATMs need a Brazilian id to get money out, even the "24 hour" system which is supposed to be international. Excellent buffet breakfast, varied, fresh fruit, juices, never a problem with the food which is always fresh and covered from occasional flies and the rare small...

O hotel foi pintado, está com acomodações razoáveis, éramos casal e duas crianças de 11 anos e tinha uma cama de casal e duas de solteiro, banheiro com tolhas limpas, roupa de cama adequada, 4 travesseiros, e 4 sabonetes de hotel, não havia shampoo e condicionador, mas tudo bem. "We actually did not stay here because the ATLANTIC OCEAN IS NOT A HOTEL!!!! It is a condominium where some people rent their apartments. The very nice lady at the gate told us it is a condominium and furthermore, she did not know we were coming because no one had told her. They were going to make up the room but this took more than an hour. We decided to make a reservation at a real hotel."
