"Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!"

"Absolute heaven on earth. Claude, Joanna and all the other amazing staff made our trip to the Cape Coast, beyond amazing.
We loved the fact that it was on an open beach, offering opportunities to engage with the locals of the area.
Perfect definition of eco-luxury meets humility! "
"What an awful experience, where do I start?
A few days before my trip I contacted the property. The owner first said he couldn't host me because he was fully booked and asked me to cancel the reservation. After a few exchanges he said he could host me if I booked directly with him (at a higher price than what I had booked).
At that time I could no longer cancel my reservation without paying any fee so, after he said he wouldn't respect my reservation I reported the issue to Expedia. Not so happy with Expedia mediation but it half solved the issue
I didn't stay there but I stopped by the place to have a drink and it's dirty and poorly maintained.
You'd better find another place to stay "
"Orange beach resort is not a "resort" more a very basic hotel with AC. The rooms are ok, shower and AC are working but you don't want to spend more time in it than necessary. No soap but you get toilet paper.
The stuff is helpful but stoned all the time so breakfast takes 1h to prepare (if someone is there) for a simple but good breakfast (egg, toast, fruit, coffee).
Behind the hotel on the beach side is kind of public toilet and garbage.
Pro: location, breakfast, breakfast, price"
"Lovely big clean comfortable rooms. Food was very nice. Joesph and Linda made us feel vey welcomed. Views-from roof top restaurant are fantastic. Very close to the local beach where you can watch boats being made. Very quiet area but lovely. "
You can study the exhibits at Java Museum, a museum with a storied past, during your trip to Elmina. While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.
