Fishbowl Lower is a beautifully renovated, ground-floor 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment located in the serene Mid-Island area of Fort Myers Beach. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk between two beach access points, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. A nearby trolley stop provides easy access to the lively downtown area, home to the iconic Times Square, local restaurants, shops, and vibrant entertainment.
Inside, the apartment features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area that seats six, and a breakfast bar with three stools. The cozy living room offers a comfortable sofa bed, two armchairs, and a TV. Each bedroom also includes a TV, for a total of three throughout the unit. The bathroom has been stylishly upgraded, and the entire apartment has been freshly painted and tiled. For your convenience, a hairdryer and seven ceiling fans are provided.

Clean but lack of service/professionalism
The fish bowl lower was a newly renovated clean 2 bedroom. Great location. VRBO/CBVR advertised a full kitchen, but the range/oven died just past halfway through our stay and CBVR passed it off to an electrical contractor who told us we would have to contact the appliance manufacturer regarding the warranty. So we lost a full fridge of food, and didn't have a range/oven to use. Coastal Breeze never addressed. I would recommend elsewhere.

Perfect getaway
My wife and I loved this beautiful place to stay.
Clean! And a very nice heated pool.
A very short walk to the beach.

Close to Publix and many restaurants.
We would totally stay here again!
Our stay was wonderful. Great communication, very clean, all needs were met in the apartment and the swimming pool was wonderful. We especially loved how close the beach was to the property. We would highly recommend this property.
Had a great stay at the Fishbowl. Perfect size for the three of us. Close to the beach with all of the things needed to go there (cart, towels, chairs, cooler). Very clean unit with all that was needed to use the kitchen. Shared pool with upper unit which was perfect for our after beach happy hours. Loved it and plan to go back! Great customer service and flexibility with our late flight out as well. We loved it!
Our family of 4 stayed in the lower portion. The size was exactly as expected, spacious and clean. The fridge was spotless and all the kitchen accessories were provided to prepare/store food. The pool was very warm and had some goggles and toys for the kids. There was also a collapsable wagon with chairs flr the short walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and as I write this, I am wishing I was back by that pool!!!

Perfect family getaway
My family of four had a great time while staying in fishbowl lower during spring break. Fish Bowl is located a short 5 min walk to the beach and provides all of the beach gear you need to enjoy this part of the island's quieter stretch of beach. We also enjoyed the tranquil pool right outside our patio door. This is a duplex and so you will be sharing the pool with the upstairs renters. The unit was very clean upon arrival and offered all that we needed to enjoy 5 days and nights relaxing on the beach.

Fantastic Week in the Sun
I loved my stay at The Fishbowl Lower! Being in the middle of the island was great. I was able to access the attractions on both sides of the island by a short trolly ride that has a stop only a block from the house! The best part was the pool and grill out back. We were able to eat in almost every night and relax in the warm pool at any point during our stay. I also enjoyed being able to watch my favorite shows on the one rainy day we got by logging into my streaming accounts on the smart tvs!

Close to beach
Location is great. The kitchen could be better supplied….We loved having a pool just outside the sliding doors. We rarely saw upstairs people at the pool, probably because they have to walk down stairs, around the side of the house and thru the gate. This is a quiet area of the island which was perfect for us. We rode bikes more than driving b/c traffic could be very bad traveling North. The locals meet at sunset every night to blow conche shells. It was a great way to meet the locals.

Property management was not good
When the door lock box would not work, I contacted Coastal Breeze Property and was first told that I was entering the wrong code (which I wasn’t). Then the following day when I had a problem again with the lock, I requested a maintenance person to come fix it, they never sent one. And on the third day, I called with the same problem, the girl I spoke with at Coastal Breeze told me to pull the door towards me when entering the code as a solution. I demanded a maintenance person come out and when he arrived, not only did he agree that the bold mechanism of the lock was catching in the door jam (which he had to remove) but that the reason the lock box wasn’t opening properly as well was because the batteries were almost completely dead. After all of this, at the very end of our stay, I contacted Coastal Breeze to ask for a late check out because our flights got delayed over 6hrs and their reply was that they could give me an hour for an additional $75. We checked out at 10am and spent the next few hours on the beach and when we came back well after 1pm, the cleaning crew hadn’t been there nor were there any new guests which were the reasons we were told we had to pay for one additional hour. I am aware when “peak” season is in FL and if there were guests needing to check in right after us, I also would understand BUT this wasn’t the case at all. We will not be recommending or renting with any properties managed by Coastal Breeze again!
