Heated Salt Pool and Spa, Sleeps 8, 8 Minutes to the Beach

Hi, we are Rick and Patricia. This Pompano Beach pool home was set up for one thing: easy family time. The backyard does the heavy lifting, with over 40 feet of water behind a full privacy fence, and the beach is 8 minutes away.

One thing to know before you book: pool and spa heating is optional and not included in the nightly rate. $30 the first day and $20 each day after heats the pool to 85 and the spa to 100, and the spa jets run on the heater.

THE BACKYARD
Behind the privacy fence is over 40 feet of water, 11 feet wide the whole way: a 30 foot salt pool, a 7 foot sun shelf where the loungers sit right in the water, and a 5 foot spa. A shade sail covers the lounge chairs, the covered patio holds deep seating for the hottest hours, the natural gas grill never needs a propane swap, and the warm outdoor shower keeps sand and sunscreen out of the water. The pool runs 8 am to 10 pm.

THE LIVING ROOM
A bright open room with a smart TV and comfortable seating that flows straight into the kitchen and dining area. The full size sofa bed sleeps guests seven and eight.

THE KITCHEN
Fully equipped for real cooking: pots, pans, a full knife block, and a coffee station with a drip brewer, toaster oven, blender, and kettle. Quick breakfasts before the pool, slow dinners after.

THE BEDROOMS
The primary has a king bed under a real wood plank ceiling, its own smart TV, and a private ensuite with an oversized vanity and walk-in shower. Bedroom two has a queen and its own TV. Bedroom three has a full bed plus a twin, also with its own TV. Every bed is made with fresh hotel-grade linens before you arrive. Sleeps 8 in all.

THE BATHROOMS
Two full baths: the primary's private ensuite, and a second bathroom with a marble-look walk-in shower and natural light.

LAUNDRY
A stackable washer and dryer sit just off the dining area, with detergent included.

STOCKED FOR YOU
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, fresh linens, laundry and dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels, sponges, dish detergent, basic condiments, and coffee. Four smart TVs (bring your own logins), 300 Mbps wifi, Nest climate control, an iron and board, and for families: high chair, pack n play, stroller, and infant car seat.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You are in a quiet, residential pocket of Pompano Beach, about 8 minutes by car from the sand. A few minutes away, Pompano Beach Community Park packs a whole second vacation: 16 lighted clay tennis courts, a dozen pickleball courts, beach volleyball, disc golf, a playground, a one mile walking trail, and the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center with its Olympic size pool. Golfers are covered too, the city owned Pompano Beach Golf Course is close by and its Pines course was designed by Greg Norman. At the water, the Fisher Family Pier at sunset ends up in everyone's camera roll, and fishing charters run out of Hillsboro Inlet.

GETTING AROUND
A car makes Pompano easy: the beach is an 8 minute drive and the paver driveway parks about 4 cars. Once you are at the beach district, the free Circuit shuttle covers it (download the Ride Circuit app), and Uber and Lyft arrive quickly in this part of town.

GOOD TO KNOW
Keypad self check-in, no keys to juggle. Quiet hours run 10 pm to 8 am, the lead guest must be 30 or older, every guest signs a quick electronic pool waiver, and this is a no smoking, no party, no pets home. After beach days, please use the warm outdoor shower before the pool. Cared for by our own company, Acuity Property Management, so someone is always quick to respond.
