My family really enjoyed the stay. The house was perfect for the adults and the children enjoyed themselves too. The pool area was great and we all enjoyed the canoeing. Our favorite was grilling burgers and hanging out on the porch. The short walk to the beach made it perfect. Great place to relax and hangout!

Great girls weekend

This is a perfect spot not far from the beach- but the old ladies really enjoyed the canoes. The house was everything we wanted -plenty of room(s) for everyone, and it was easy to find a spot to get away and relax.

Ideal location

It was our group’s second time staying in this large, well-maintained and equipped house situated on a State Park lagoon and only one block from the beach. That one block from A1A makes it a much quieter and private a place than where we have stayed once before right on A1A. The house interior and backyard/pool are as shown in the photos. We hope to return to this excellent rental in the future.

Lovely home. Beautiful views.

This was a lovely, very spacious home overlooking a lagoon (Long lake) and a 3 minute walk to the beach! Sitting in the screened porch sipping coffee watching the ducks and bald eagles each morning was beautiful. Ashley responded very quickly to any and all questions. We enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend this home!

Amazing Experience!

I had 11 teenagers and myself celebrating both my daughters birthday. Everything was exactly as described. Parents who dropped their kids off came in to see the house. They loved it too! We felt safe. It was clean. Decor was beautiful. Backyard was beautiful to look at. Going out on the canoe was a highlight. The walk to the beach only took 2 min.! We will definitely stay here again for the next occasion. And, Ashley was very kind and communicative.

Mom's 90th Beach Birthday

The home was great, spacious and overall clean. Walking distance to beach which everyone enjoyed. Central location which was near to all amenities we needed ( Food, Parks, Pickleball, etc). Ashley was great and responsive as we needed some assistance with the barbecue grill, which turned out great.A few things personally and for the group that could have been a better touch. Bar soap in all the bathrooms, Aluminum foil or Saran wrap in kitchen. Clean up of some small paint chips in the living room. Info that there is a small apartment out back that was used for family when in town. Overall a great stay though.

Excellent 50th Bday in March

An excellent stay all around! The bedrooms are spacious & very comfortable; the kitchen is large & had everything we needed for cooking, entertaining & grilling. I was surprised by the size of the heated pool - it was larger than the pictures show. Also, there is both shade & sun in & around the pool for the whole day. The patio outside the kitchen sliding doors was in direct sun most of the afternoon (we brought a pop-up tent that helped greatly). A few guests took advantage of the canoe & kayaks and loved paddling around the lagoon. Bring bug spray - the screened-in area on the first level does not keep out no-see-ums (small biting bugs) - about 1/2 of our crew had bites from them in the evenings. Our hosts were very responsive & extremely accommodating to our needs (thank you to our hosts!). If you are planning on a trip to the beach from the house, the city of Ft Lauderdale has an excellent website stating what is and is not allowed on the beaches. We also rented a 6-pass golf cart from a local company for about $100-$150/day. Lastly, if you are going out for food or drink, I recommend Kim Bokamper's (Sports bar on the intercoastal). It is about 1-2 miles north of the house.

The house was beautifully decorated and had a great layout and location. It was very clean inside and had everything we might need. Great beds and linens! It was also nice to have the pool when we weren’t at the beach. Ashley was responsive and wanted to address any issues we had such a a light bulb out and a “ sticky” slider. And, you couldn’t beat the view of the park out the backyard. Loads of wildlife visited us - ducks, iguanas, a couple of raccoons, giant turtles, and water birds. Lovely to wake up to.

Great house, great location

All the amenities you could need just like home, pool was great, backing up to the water on the state park was awesome, we spent lots of time fishing and caught lots of fish, a block away from the beach was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!
