We were here in January and a lot of the restaurants close at 3. A lot of the restaurants are closed. I don't know if it's because it's January but not a lot of choices. The Salvadorian food truck is awesome and open every day. Definitely recommend!

Sure wished Fort Davis had more dining options that were opened at dinner time, and on nights the Observatory have their night Star Party. We were in on a Tuesday night and only one restaurant to eat at for dinner before heading out to observatory.

Visited the McDonald Observatory but weren't able to get booked for star gazing party but great views from there. Fort Davis State Park also offered a star gazing party.
