"Pros: Dit kleine huisje biedt een oase van rust, afzondering en natuur. Het zwembad zou ik eerder een dompelbadje noemen maar het biedt wel de broodnodige verkoeling. Het dakterras is prachtig ná zonsondergang om de maan achter de bergen te zien verschijnen. Overdag is het er veel te heet omdat er geen parasol is. Luie stoelen beneden ontbreken buiten waardoor alleen aan de picknicktafel onder de overkapping gezeten kan worden en da’s niet altijd lekker. Horren in de ramen zijn ten zeerste aan...

"The beds are uncomfortable, and the Air conditioning is not real AC, it seems like some kind of water-based cooling system is used. Place was clean and very spacious, on-site parking was good, as well as price and location."

"A nice hotel with a fantastic location. The staff is warm and attentive, and the rooms, while on the smaller side, are clean and quiet, with AC, a small fridge, and comfortable beds. Breakfast is okay but limited in variety; with so many good dining options just steps away, it's easy to skip. Location is truly the highlight: a three-minute walk from the Cathedral of Granada, which houses the Royal Chapel and the tombs of the Reyes Católicos, Isabel I of Castile and Fernando II of Aragon. Within about a 10-minute walk, you'll find the bus stop for route C-32, which takes you directly to the Alhambra. Around the hotel, there are plenty of shops and restaurants. This hotel is a solid choice if you want to be right in the heart of Granada."

"We have stayed in the hotel 2 years ago and that was the reason for our return to Granada because of the excellent customer service location basically everything. Nothing was too much trouble and their English was 1st class and all of the team really make you feel valued. We will return again."

"We stayed at the Barceló for my wife’s birthday weekend and had a fantastic stay. This is a large hotel located about a 20-minute walk from the centre of Granada. It has easy access and a large underground car park, costing €18 per night. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, kettle, and fridge. The bathroom was perfectly adequate, although the quite powerful shower is positioned over the bath with only a small shower screen, making it easy to unintentionally soak the bathroom floor. Breakfast was excellent, with an impressive range of choices. We particularly liked being seated rather than having to search for a table ourselves. We visited the hotel’s rice restaurant one evening and the paella was delicious. We also had a lunchtime snack in the lobby bar, which was both good value and very tasty. The spa was pleasant, although the variety of spa showers felt a little unusual and, in truth, not especially appealing. We had a couples massage which was excellent and very enjoyable. My only criticism was that robes were not provided to walk through the communal area to the massage room. Our only real disappointment was the gym and swimming pool. Both appear much larger and more spacious in the cleverly taken photographs. While the terrace around the pool is very pleasant, with a small bar and fantastic views, the pool itself is tiny. We also found the gym rather claustrophobic, with a limited range of equipment and weights only going up to 10 kg"
