5 bedrooms! Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a perfect getaway for large families, a work retreat or just getting away from the business of life! Our cabin features 5 bedrooms plus a loft, 4 full bathrooms, large patio with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen with all cooking amenities and plenty of toys and games for the kids. We have four children between my brother's family and ours and always have additional families up for the weekend. There is plenty of room for everyone, with our favorite times sitting on the patio while the kids explore the great outdoors!

We are tucked away on a cul-de-sac street and back to the mountain preserve. Horseback riding is available within a couple miles from the cabin, as well as, many hiking trails and seven cold water lakes. There is much to do for those that enjoy the outdoors!

Cabin Layout:

*Two Master Bedrooms.
Master Bedroom #1 is upstairs with a Queen Bed, full bath, walk-in closet, additional sitting area that is occupied with a Full Bed. There is a loft with a full size, fold-out Futon directly off the Master Bedroom #1.
Master Bedroom #2 is downstairs with a King Bed and Twin Bed, full bath and walk-in closet.

*Three Guest Bedrooms.
Two guestroom's have full-size beds. Guest bedroom #3 has an elevated (top bunk) and twin bed below. This is a great room for kids, as we designate it as the 'playroom'.

*Kitchen includes; microwave, full oven, refrigerator with ice maker, all cookware, utensils and basic spices.

*Living room includes; Satellite TV and gas fireplace.

There is a fabulous, relaxing oversize front patio with a wood burning fireplace, surround sound and plenty of seating. This is a great setting to relax with a book or happy hour with friends and family before dinner.

~Other amenities include: a dog run, a gas grill, two charcoal grills, custom poker table, pack-n-play, high chair, children's plates, cups, utensils and plenty of games/toys. (corn-hole game is a big hit! It's a bean bag game that entertains all ages)

Beautiful Cabin - Amazing Porch!

This is one, if not the largest rental property in Forest Lakes. It was perfect for our family gathering up North. John communicates promptly and the instruction packet is VERY detailed. Perfect VRBO experience, would highly recommend renting this large cabin.

Excellent property in an excellent community

Our third summer staying at this property. Great for large families. The weather in June was excellent and allowed us to eat dinners on their beautiful large front porch. Zero complaints highly recommend. Close to good fishing at Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lakes. We also enjoyed Horseback Riding at nearby stables.

Wonderful Cabin!

My family (Our kids, grandkids, and dogs) gets together in a cabin every year and this is the best one so far! We spent almost every night around the outside fireplace playing games and drinking coffee/hot chocolate. The deck and the dog run are both enclosed, so it made it easy on the dogs and it was great having the two master bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

Winter Wonderland getaway

Great Family Getaway...

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway away from the city and the heat and this definitely fit the bill. It is a wonderful location, and it worked perfectly for our large family (my husband and I, our grown kids, and our grandkids, along with our dogs). The large porch is a great place to hang out, and we loved the fact that it backed right up to the National Forest. The house has great space and plenty of amenities. We could tell that the owners took great care of the place and seemed to think of everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Peaceful Setting

Lots of room for everyone and the cabin is in a very peaceful place in Forest Lakes. Because of the location it feels like you are the only cabin in the area if you are inside or out on the deck. The deck is fantastic, big, and with the fireplace, a perfect place to sit and relax with the family. Our 5th time here and we will hopefully be back for more. Thank you

First class cabin!!!

We go up north often and this trip was by far the best! Cabin was clean, well organized, and the little touches made it first class! The set up was perfect for what we and our fur babies needed! And for the first time we’ve ever rented, the owner called us to ask us if we were enjoying our stay. Again, first class all the way rent this cabin and have a great experience like we did.!

My family and I had a wonderful time and would come back. Pictures really didn’t do it justice in terms of the size. PLENTY of space for my family of 5, and my mom with plenty of room to spare. My family and I go to Forest Lakes every 4 th of July. This is the first time staying in this cabin and hopefully won’t be the last. The cabin had everything we needed plus more . The host was super responsive to all my questions that came up. Very thankful for amazing service and the cleanliness, along w all the ample . Family Weekend

What a beautiful cabin!! This cabin was the perfect setting for our family weekend with our 3 grown daughters and their spouses. This property is set in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to the woods. There was plenty of space for the 8 adults and an 18 month old. The dogs really loved the woods, the trails nearby and the outdoor patio area. We all spent a lot of time on the outdoor covered patio enjoying the fires in the fireplace and the cool fresh air. The dog run was really convenient too. We will definitely come back!

Perfect place for large families and pets

Winter storm ruined our family camping plans but we feel so lucky that we were able to find this awesome place. Great location! The place easily accommodated our family of 9 and our 2 dogs. The snow was beautiful and everyone had a great time building snowmen and sledding. We used the fireplace out front daily for relaxing watching the snow and making smores. Everything was clean, stocked, and worked properly. Ready to come back in the summer time to enjoy all the hiking trails and lakes!

Beautiful cabin in the pines!

We've stayed at this cabin for years and love it! There is plenty of sleeping room for 3 families and our kids as they've grown up. Beautiful deck, and a terrific outdoor fireplace to enjoy the evenings. We bring our bocce and cornhole to have fun around the cabin, and also our dogs for walks around the neighborhood. The large table in the kitchen is perfect for our entire group to enjoy dinner together, or play board games and cards. We are so grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful cabin with us year after year - it is part of our family's (and our friends') treasured memories.

Five Stars!!

This property exceeded all of our expectations from beginning to end. John checked in with us the day we arrived to make sure we found the place, which we all appreciated. To me it shows he cared and I liked the personal touch. I must say that we all shared the same opinion that the pictures really don’t show just how beautiful and clean the place is. The outdoor deck with the fire pit was my favorite and the hosts spoiled us with a welcome gift filled with everything to make s’mores. This was my 5 year old’s favorite and her smile said it all. Beds were all over the place (in a good way) to comfortably sleep 10+ and there is a fenced dog run with a doggy door so you don’t worry about your pets when they need to go outside. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
