Lovely relaxing stay
This place far exceeded our expectations. Beautifully done, the owners have maximised the space so well. Everything we needed, very clean, friendly host, couldn't have asked for more. We had a lovely time, it was just what we needed! Thank you x
Great location, very clean and tidy house. Perfect for a couple.
Great location for exploring the New Forest. Heather and Denis were lovely; friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. The cottage felt far enough away from the main property to feel nicely independent and was spotless inside. Would definitely recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dairy Cottage. Lovely, peaceful location a short drive from the New Forest and the coast. The cottage is quite spacious, with a lovely bedroom, en suite and dressing area.. It is well equipped,a real home from home.
I initially came to the property by myself in order to work on a deadline, and then my partner came to join me for the last couple of nights.
As a work location, I found it peaceful and it had good WiFi with a great Tassimo coffee machine as well as cafetiere, and a dining table big enough for my laptop and to spread my papers out with a nice view out of the windows.
As a place to relax, the cottage is clean, comfortable and cosy. It is spacious and has lots of storage space, so would be ideal for stays longer than a week too. It also has a lovely log burner.
The location is good. I did a few short walks around the local area, walking out directly from the property, and saw wildlife including birds of prey, deer, donkeys, horses and sheep. When my partner arrived, we travelled further afield by car. It is very close by (10-15 mins drive) to Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve and Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, with other New Forest locations not too far further afield, and Bournemouth just 25 minutes drive away if you fancy a change of scenery.
Ideal - would definitely return!
A delightful cottage, truly charming and comfortable . Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Comfy stay
Nice well equipped property. Very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Situated in rural location approx 15minute walk to local shop & pub along a narrow country road with no footpaths.
The property was in an ideal location for our holiday . The accommodation was clean and tidy and was big enough for the two of us and our dog .
Would definitely look at booking again when planning a trip to Dorset .
We had a wonderful stay and property was furnished very nicely, peaceful part of dorset, we shall stay again. Only thing i would have liked is a few sun loungers as patio is large and sunset was very pleasant, and i like to sunbathe!
