"Superbe acceuil , Anja etait au petit soin avec nous a repondu à ttes nos attentes ,des randonnées dès la sortie du gîte ou pas tres loin du village(des cartes à disposition),le jardin juste magnifique pour les chiens et avec le gite on retourne effectivement "au bon vieux temps",vaisselle mobilier faire le feu etc tout y fait référence. "Dont judge a book by the cover. . The area around was industrial with a lot of car show rooms on a main road. Google maps showed the canal and River but you cant see these. HOWEVER, the welcome was warm and friendly. Between my poor French and the receptionist's broken English, we understood each other! The hotel was clean and tidy. There was a lovely court yard garden, with the rooms around. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. Breakfast was plentiful , fresh and delicious. We were able to sit outside. We arrived on motorbikes, and immediately we were shown an area to park under a security camera. There were at least 3 restaurants within walking distance. As we left, all the staff were cleaning and all said goodbye."

Our room was a good size and looked like it had been recently refurbished as the bathroom was excellent.Great toiletries too. Very comfy bed.We could have used the pool and spa free of charge but didn't have time as it was just a overnight stop travelling through France."
