The unit is located only one block from Center St. and right behind Bert's Market- the local award winning grocer and deli. It has one bedroom, a pull out sofa in the living room, full kitchen and bath. Linens, including beach towels are provided. It is equipped with Direct TV, Netflix and WiFi. There is a small patio and communal grill outside. This is a great little spot for a couple or a family with small children to enjoy Folly from!

Great Stay & Location

We really enjoyed getting away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The place was well sized for a couple traveling alone. Great location right behind Bert’s Market so a short walk to the beach and everywhere else in Downtown Folly. Would stay again!

Great Location & Price Point

Great location a blocks walk to the beach and restaurants. Good price point. Clean, good mattress. Parking was a huge plus. Would stay here again.

Best location in Folly.

To be able to walk into Bert's every morning for a coffee and catch the sunrise was priceless Small but was able to cook a thanksgiving dinner

Nice property and close to the beach!

Perfect for my husband, myself and two little dogs. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and Bert’s Market is right next to the property. We will stay here again.

Cute Folly Property

My dog and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! I found it to be clean, decorated in a cute, beachy style, and conveniently located. It's nice and cozy, & very close to the beach!

Folly Getaway

Positive comments: Loved being on the first floor with on site parking. Walked everywhere we went. Apartment size was perfect. Constructive criticism: Elaborate grill with sink was unkept. TV kept freezing up. We used the tub rug to keep from falling up or down the steps to the bathroom - should be marked. None of these would keep us from renting again.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

I will book this unit again without hesitation because of cleanliness, location, affordability and quick responsiveness from the host. From the minute we opened the door and got settled in we felt at home and very happy with how clean, especially the shower, and tastefully decorated the unit is. Though we did not prepare any meals due to having Bert's (I highly recommend anything from their The Wooden Spoon menu) just next door and the multiple dining options a short walk away, the kitchen has everything we would have needed otherwise. The only downside for us was the late night/early morning footsteps from the unit above, but it was not constant and the advantages far outweighed that minor experience. The one time we had an issue with the TV, Julia responded very quickly and had the issue fixed shortly thereafter. I highly recommend this unit if you're looking for an easy-going true Folly-Beaching time : )

We visited Folly Beach for our anniversary and were appreciative of being able to bring our little pomeranian w us also. The unit was comfortable ( esp the bed!) but the location is perfect! As others have said, there is some music across the street but nothing that interfered w our sleep. Full disclosure- it was the first place we saw so went for tacos & beer right after getting settled in & checking out the beach! We really enjoyed exploring the island on bikes and walking 'to town' just 2 blocks away- never needed the car while there- even for church on Sunday...being so close to all made us feel like we were in a past era... We had brought enuf breakfast food w us ( altho needed milk & juice so having Bert's grocery right behind us was very convenient!) but did eat out at a few restaurants and Everything was just great. This was truly a relaxing stay w beach walks, beach sits for reading & sunning & beach naps. Notice the 'theme'? lol - With this beautiful, clean beach just 2 blocks away we were there a LOT ( inc a sunrise & full moon rise). The reason for my 4 in communication is because while we didn't need a Pamphlet on the island or a long list of do's & dont's, it IS nice to see some recommendations (the guest book helped here) & a note from the host as to what is expected at exit. We did what we've always done when leaving a vacation home as per linens, etc but having host's preference helps. I am Sure we will be back!

Great Location

This is a great location to the beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment offered everything we needed for our stay. The place was clean and very well cooled. There was not a humid feel to the place.

Perfect!

We had the best time at folly beach ! The most clean place we have stayed with VRBO to date ! Very sweet and responsive hosts and it was such a cute space ! We loved how close it was to everything folly beach has to offer , especially being right at Bert’s mart which is the towns market ! Would highly recommend !

Great Location

It was all good. Enjoyed our stay, everything was in walking distance. It has a beach house feeling😃 Only reason I gave 4 stars on cleaniness(4.5 was not an option) is the floors a bit sticky and made our socks & feet dirty brown....had to wear shoes....but we were ok with flip flops. Nothing a little bleach water & dawn wouldn't fix with a good old mop and water. 😜🤪😝. Other then that, tub stopper needs fixed...had to jack up drain plug with spoon so water would drain. We will absolutely be back. We loved it❤ 💥Bert's store is the best...good food....good people...you must visit😛

Ehh…

It was an alright place, but I would not stay again. Location is VERY noisy. Has a liquor store and bar right next door that is constantly loud. Tenants above were not only loud, but parked in the “walking” area and blocked one of the entrance gates instead of their designated parking spot. Surrounding area was so loud that I left the night before check out since I wasn’t gonna be able to sleep anyways. Shower has mold on the wood pieces that should be replaced/treated. There is a step in the bath area that you can easily miss since there is no safety/caution tape. Almost fell and had to put the laundry basket there to remind myself about the step. Highly recommend to put caution tape so the step is noticeable and less of a safety hazard. Pro: Pet friendly, a block from the beach, easy check in/out. Note: Dates are wrong. Check in was Friday, 10/20 (5PM) thru Monday, 10/23 (10AM). However, I checked out Sunday night (10/22).

Not what I expected

The bathroom had mold in the shower stall, had slime on the wall. Outside kitchen not usable, too much to clean. Fire pit had no gas. Outside faucet was running until I turned it off. There was a musty smell throughout. There was also a sewer smell once in a while. We couldn’t figure out how to use the tv. Pictures online were very deceiving. I would have appreciated more information available to me once I got there. Overall the location was great. The property just needs TLC.

Awesome Stay

This place was great. It was the perfect location to the beach, restaurants, and shops all around. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. Bert’s was conveniently right next door and had everything we could have needed and excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We will definitely be back.

Great location!

You can’t beat the location of this spot. So convenient to the market, great restaurant, and easy walk to the beach. We were so happy it was dog friendly to bring our fur babies along too. But with 2 dogs, we could have used some extra towels. And although it has A/C it never really seemed to cool down to a lower temperature during the day
