We requested a non-smoking room, which we were assigned. However, the rooms smelled like it may have been a smokers room in the past. I could not shake that smell. Additionally, the bathroom had not been cleaned behind the door and there was a pretty significant amount of dark hair behind the door, near the baseboard. I expect far more than this for a $200/ night stay.

There were people either outside or inside the room next door smoking pot and the stinch was awful, and the people sitting in the breezeway talking until late, that was the only things wrong

We were there for the state track meet. It is right across the street from the outlet, and maybe 10 minutes from the Sportsplex. Really convenient!

While this is an older property in the area, it has been updated and maintained extremely well! Staff was top-notch - friendly and helpful and really made you feel glad to be there. Rooms were spotless and amenities offered in the rooms and elsewhere were all the usual things. Important for the Gulf Coast weather, the A/C in our room was super cold! 😁 We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the (also clean) pool area. It's in a convenient spot for all the Foley restaurants, outlet shopping, or for OWA outings. We would stay again if needing a hotel in the area.

Very nice room, recently renovated, clean and well appointed. Close to Tanger Outlet shops, dining and Gulf Shores Beaches. Our first time staying here, we are quite pleased.

There was a young woman hanging around the motel who appeared to be having hallucinations from being on drugs and told my daughter and I that she had a glock. She was scantily dressed, so putting 2 and 2 together, we figured she was a "lady of the night." The manager on duty should have forced her to leave. There were other questionable individuals milling about, and we did not feel safe. The final straw was our room. It appeared clean upon entering, but when we turned down the sheets on the beds, there was black pet hair on the duvet cover, in the sheets and all over the pillows. We are both allergic to pet hair and have asthma. I felt sorry for the manager on duty as she was alone, and had several situations to deal with at once. We were offered new bedding to make up the beds ourselves, but for 250.00 for one night, I expect a safe, clean environment. We left and stayed at Staybridge Suites for 235.00. Normal people/families and a clean, beautiful room. Econolodge is misrepresenting their rooms, facility and charging outrageous prices.

It was great, the did not do our room one day, but that did not bother me. They've done our rooms in our previous stays, i think that was an honest mistake someone did. the people working there are really nice!

Hotel room was great. We did run into an issue our first night. When pulling out the sofa bed an adult toy fell out onto the ground beneath the couch. Which led to some uncomfortable questions from my 11 year old. Since my youngest was already asleep and I was traveling solo I had to wait to address it the next morning. After breakfast, which was a good hotel quality continental breakfast, I informed the front desk worker of the issue. It was immediately addressed and apologies given. The response from the hotel was great and our stay was otherwise uneventful. Also like how they serve breakfast at 6:30 on weekends. Every other local chain we’ve stayed at waits until 7:00 on weekends, which puts you in a pickle when you need to be somewhere at 7:15. Will be staying here again.

Awesome clean hotel
This was a great hotel for families with dogs. The hotel seemed newly renovated and so clean. There was a clean designated place for the dogs to do their business and close to everything! The rooms were so clean. We will return here!

The room was clean and beautiful. It looked like the picture online. The only thing I didn’t like was that my room was not refreshed during my stay. I stayed two nights. They probably need more staff to pick up dirty towels and refresh the rooms. Overall, a great experience. Thanks
