Staff was helpfully, room was small and very basic, no AC. The hotel offered transportation which was very helpful.
They also offer tours which we did.
The hotel has a restaurant which had very reasonable prices and the food was good.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful area right near the entrance of the park. Food was def an issue. There really were no other options so you had to buy 3 small sized mediocre Meals per day! It would be nice to have breakfast included in your daily rate. On top of that you have to purchase daily tix to the park if you want to visit twice not including the sunset and sunrise tours. Sunrise tour was truly special and our guide from the hotel was fantastic! Pool area needs a revamp and fyi most rooms have no AC so gets super hot!
In all we truly enjoyed the jungle and the wildlife!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
This hotel has the luxury of being situated by the entrance of the beautiful Tikal National Park, and I guess feels it doesn’t need to give much more than that. Such a shame. Clean and comfortable enough but service, amenities and energy not as it should be. You can do SO much better Jungle Lodge. Disappointing accomodation and value for what was still an awesome experience visiting the park.
Awesome place to stay! This is closest you can stay to Tikal Mayan ruins. Rooms were clean. Property itself was well maintained. I saw parking space for about 8 cars but there were only about 4 cars and I didn't have any problems to park there. There was a foosball and pool table. They showed a documentary about Tikal in projector. Onsite restaurant, snacks, bar were amazing too. In short, if you are visiting Tikal, this is the place to stay.
Excellent location and amenities, just a few steps from the entrance to Tikal National Park. Excellent tour guides, very helpful and friendly staff overall. Can’t wait to visit again!
This was an EXCELLENT location (inside the Tikal National Park) and the accomodations are great (bungalows with comfortable beds, which include mosquito netting). However, the best part of this property is the amazing staff. Their great restaurant was all I needed--I had an awesome dinner upon arrival and a wonderful breakfast after my amazing sunrise jungle tour. The hotel can also arrange for transport to/from Mundo Maya Airport in Flores. I highly recommend staying at this property and also the sunrise hike. It is worth the early wake up to watch the jungle wake up from a top one of the temples. It is an unforgettable experience!

Stunning location in the park with nice food and friendly staff.
The hotel and staff were great. The pool could’ve been cleaner and there could’ve been more vegetarian options on the dinner menu.
Great location and great tours with knowledgeable guides
Great location if you are visiting Tikal. The only downside is that most of the rooms do not have AC and the mosquito netting blocks the breeze from the ceiling fan. Because there is no AC, you get the pleasure of hearing the sounds of the jungle all night long and the howler monkeys are very active. Light sleepers may want to bring along some ear plugs.
This is such a jewel in the middle of the Jungle.
It is so convenient and have all the amenities you need. Great spacious bungalows, pool and an entertaining room (billar pool & movies)
We were pleasantly surprised about our stay here at the Jungle Lodge. You can’t beat the location, walking distance to the ruins. The staff and service were over the top, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. We did the sunrise private excursion which gets you up at 3:30am but what an experience, one of the best in our lifetime. Rooms are spacious and very clean and we will have to make a trip back to do the sunset excursion. Recommendation, do the sunrise excursion, you beat the crowds and basically have the site to yourself.

The room was great and the people were so nice, helped with tours and transport.
Muy lindo el hotel y la gente en jungle lodge.
Exceeded our expectations by a lot. Very peaceful spot in the middle of a lot of action with as good of access as you can get to get into the park. Room was very nice. Pool was refreshing. If you plan on getting to the park early this place is the best option!
Food was just decent but not great and a little overpriced for what it was.
Our cottage was spacious, clean, and super convenient to the national park at Tikal (walking distance). We ate at the restaurant 2x and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend staying at this property if you’re visiting Tikal.
The location of the hotel is great, and I really enjoyed the shuttle service. The bus drivers were friendly and helpful, and one driver in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I also enjoyed the tour guides, who were knowledgeable and pleasant.
Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was disappointing. They were not welcoming, did not seem friendly, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Customer service at the front desk has a huge impact on the overall guest experience, and because of that, I cannot rate the hotel higher. I hope management addresses this issue, as the rest of the staff and the location have a lot of potential.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Jungle Lodge. This is where the archaeologists stayed while excavating Tikal, though it is much improved since. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable, nice shower, located in the beautiful jungle. We loved hearing the howler monkeys in the night and the birds in the morning. The staff is great and the restaurant is very good.
