The apartment and location are lovely.. large apartment for Florence. It is as it seems from the photos with a modern look and nice spaces and furniture. The beds were comfortable. It's on the 3rd floor and no elevator, which is to be expected in Florence, but good to know if you have any trouble with stairs. The only reason I didn't give this a 5-star review is because there was no hot water the whole time we stayed (4 nights). We had 3 women (in our 40s) staying there and couldn't take a comfortable shower the whole time. The owner knew the hot water wasn't working when we arrived but didn't tell us until after we had gotten in and lugged our bags upstairs. The plumber couldn't make it until after we left, so after the 1st night they said they could move us to a different Vrbo which was smaller and further from where we wanted to be (it was a one bedroom, one bath instead of two/two). I told them we did not want to move to a smaller / further away place so we would stay but asked if we could use the shower once in the other apartment but they said no. I asked if there was anywhere else we could shower at least once over the 4 days and they said that we had already made our choice to stay. They gave us a small refund but it wasn't enough to even cover one night in a decent hotel. I would recommend staying here but just be sure they have checked that the hot water works!!
