Traxlers Surfside Cottage-Beachfront Bliss Awaits

  • Traxlers Surfside Cottage is a new in 2015, 1,344 square foot beach front house with amazing views and an open floor plan. The kitchen, living and dining room, are all on the main floor with stunning views of Heceta Beach. Walk out on the front deck, and take a short path to the beach. The deck also wraps around the beach side of the house, so you have a wind protected place to sit on those windy summer days.

    You'll also find a queen bedroom, a full size stack washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a shower bathtub combo on the main floor. The kitchen features stainless appliances and granite countertops. You'll find a full size dishwasher, a built in wall oven, microwave, and a separate glass cooktop.

    The master bedroom is upstairs, with a king size bed, stunning views, a sitting area, an electric fireplace and it's own wind protected deck. There is also another bathroom, on this floor, with a shower bathtub combo. With this view, you'll never want to get out of bed. You'll also find a table to setup a laptop and hold a zoom meeting away from the rest of the group,


    The street side of the house has a driveway where you can park a truck and ATV Trailer - plus an additional car.

Beautiful location and wonderfully peaceful. We spent much of our evenings on “Mom’s Bench “ in the backyard that overlooked the beach and ocean. House was homey and set up well. Perfect for 2 couples. Can’t wait to come back!

The cabin has loads of amenities and our contact with the property manager was always pleasant and helpful. We did mention to her that there are few places to sit with a reading lamp and the dining room table has no light over it.It's a very nice place.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the manager was the best ever. The endless walks on the beach with our Weim were very enjoyable and peaceful. If you want some pizza, I would recommend Abey’s in Florence.

Perfect location overlooking the ocean. Listen to the waves and watch the sunset from the deck off of or from the large master bedroom. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay and the property manager was readily available and helpful. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and to nearby Florence. Everything about Traxlers is top notch! Extremely well appointed kitchen, lots of towels, comfy furniture and beds, but most of all the location! Just breathtaking! So close to town but in its own little beach haven. The management is wonderful and attentive to our needs. The best ever!

Easy drive, great location, dog-friendly, relaxing, comfortable, accessible, cozy well-built home. Great Heceta Beach House

What a nice house right on Heceta Beach. You couldn't ask for a better location. Great views from the lower and upper decks and from the bench in the back yard. Well furnished, comfortable, spacious and easy to get to. Everything worked great. Just steps from the beach and close to everything that the central Oregon coast has to offer. Great instructions were provided, and access was easy. We had the best time on our 10 day stay and the home was a very good value for the price. I would recommend the property and would stay again. There was a book to view the Traxler Anchor family story of the original cabin to the present-day home. Thanks, Traxler family for making our vacation memorable.

Great place

You can see the beach, but there's not a direct pathway from the house. The public pathway is close though, so not bad. The kitchen was small, but well equipped. The master bedroom is huge and the view is amazing. The only problem we had was trying to get the air conditioner on. My friend pushed buttons downstairs which seemed to make it start working in the bedroom. working.

My daughters senior summer trip, surf edition

This was our big trip this year! Two Kids, two dogs, and lots of high expectations. When I say that this home exceeded our expectations, that’s an understatement. Not only is the location perfect but the house is set up for being next to the beach. The floors are meant to get dirty with sand. The sofas have material that can handle kids returning from the beach. The house was stocked with extra linens and towels for everyone, including our dogs. Made it so easy to cover the beds and keep them clean from the pups. The kitchen is stocked with almost every gadget a foodie (or parent) would need, even plastic kiddie dishes! The resources left by the family are so thoughtfully organized, it made it easier to find out about the town of Florence and what was available. Not that we left the house, except for the grocery store (less than 2 miles away is a Fred Meyer) and other beaches to surf. We loved this place and will definitely be back!!

Everything was wonderful about the house, from the start walking in the front door to having the ocean view and of coursethe master bedroom ocean view. My husband and I absolutely loved everything about it. Very dog friendly.we loved it so much we booked again for next year.. The one and only thing was the shower upstairs did not drain well at all..we had to take showers down staires. I still give it a 10 star!!! I love the history of this wonderful home,And of course Mama's bench on the hill.. pretty much every evening set up there and watch the sunset. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful home.
