The Residence Case Nuove apartment is located in the Ponte a Greve neighborhood, in a quiet residential 


area on the outskirts of Florence, that’s well-connected to the city center and offers plenty of amenities and green spaces, 20-minute tram ride from downtown.
Our apartment is on the ground floor of a newly renovated residential complex, with a private parking space (a real plus in Florence!) and a double garden where you can relax after a day of sightseeing.
It’s the ideal starting point for exploring Florence—just a 20-minute tram ride away—and Tuscany, and a great base for both leisure and business trips.
In fact, you can park your car and easily take public transportation to the Fortezza da Basso, home to exhibitions and events, or to the most iconic and historic monuments of our beautiful city.
Another plus are the two gardens—one in front and one behind the apartment—which soothe the eyes and mind as soon as you wake up or return from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Set in a private, relaxing, and quiet setting, the apartment is brand-new and equipped with all the latest amenities to ensure a stay that feels just like home.

Once you reach the gate, you’ll enter the beautifully maintained garden, equipped with a canopy, table, and chairs for your outdoor lunches or dinners.
From here, the front door leads to the bright living room with a kitchenette, equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner whenever you wish.
(kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.).
The living room is furnished with a table and chairs and a designer sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed to accommodate larger groups or families.
Splashes of color here and there add personality to the space and make it warm and inviting.
The living room opens onto a hallway with a large closet and a washing machine.
The master bedroom is the real gem of the house, with its large wrought-iron bed and a view of the backyard, which also features a table and chairs for enjoying breakfast in privacy and relaxation.
A large, modern bathroom with a shower completes the home.
Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available in all rooms.

Our apartment, “Residence Case Nuove,” is located in the quiet and modern neighborhood of San Lorenzo a Greve, on a quiet side street, sheltered from traffic and prying eyes.
San Lorenzo a Greve, also known as Ponte a Greve, is a historic, predominantly residential district in Florence’s 4th district and takes its name from the church of the same name located in the area.
 The ancient bridge over the Greve River—much older than the Ponte Vecchio—which, despite successive reconstructions, dates back to Roman times, connects the two banks of what has been the backbone of the village for millennia: Via Pisana, a route of pre-Etruscan origin that has always led to the sea.
Thus, a village sprang up around the bridge to welcome pilgrims, featuring the 12th-century Church of San Lorenzo, a hospital, a tower, and the typical row houses.
In fact, it appears that the Church of San Lorenzo was strategically located next to the ancient bridge to defend the crossing over the Greve.


Today, the San Lorenzo a Greve neighborhood is undergoing major residential development, as well as the construction of a large shopping center that is also heavily frequented by residents of other Florentine neighborhoods.
Such are the twists of history: these are the “new houses,” while the ones that originally gave the street—the narrow alley—its name are now old.
The key catalyst for this development was the construction of the tram line connecting San Lorenzo a Greve to Florence.
The San Lorenzo a Greve neighborhood features a wide variety of residential options: from the historic village and small shops to the large shopping center, and from small townhouses to large apartment buildings.
The contrast between the old and the new is united by the fact that this is an area that has maintained its role as a place of transit over time.
Ideal for couples, families, or remote workers, the neighborhood offers everything you might need during your stay.
Just a stone’s throw away, you’ll find: a bank, a pharmacy, cafés, pastry shops, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, traditional and ethnic restaurants, supermarkets, a hair salon, a laundromat, and a bus stop.
