It’s like Harry Potter’s stairwell. Disappointing.

The apartment is at the top of five flights of stairs. The primary room is really the area under a stairwell. It’s very old, superficially updated, and the photos are so carefully taken with perspective and lighting that they are very deceptive in scale and modernity. The sofa is really a double chair. The kitchen is minute. The shower barely functioning. The washer barely functioned and leaked all over the bathroom floor. The main bedroom was OK. We were not happy, and left after one day, into a 5 night reservation. The location is good. That’s the only real positive. We would not recommend it, or return to it.

Everything was okay to begin with great location. The only drawback was five flights of stairs. However, I knew this from reading previous reviews. The other problem happened the morning.We were leaving when everybody was saying there was no hot water. I was able to reset the water.Heater, and it was working for a little while.But then stopped halfway through my shower. I am sure this is a simple fix.The lady who checked us in checked the hot water before she left to make sure it was working.So this is something that has happened before.I believe. I really enjoy the view out of the master bedroom. Despite some of the drawbacks, it was a great experience.And the city is so beautiful, everybody had a wonderful time.
