Amazing place to stay and amazing host

Claudia and her assistant were absolutely amazing. Very easy check in process and flexible with our schedule. The apartment is in a great location , very walkable to the main areas. The apartment is beautiful and so cute. Very large as well. 10/10

Great location

The host's recommendation for a restaurant was excellent and the assistance with a cab to train station was much appreciated. The apartment is comfortable well stocked with guide books, and was a good fit for our family's vacation.

Perfect Location

This location allowed us to walk everywhere. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Claudia and Viviana were very helpful and easy to communicate with. They arranged taxis for us both to and from.

Great apartment right in Florence

This apartment was the perfect location for our brief stay in Florence. VERY close to all, yet absolutely quiet and peaceful. Claudia takes a personal interest in making sure everything is perfect for your stay. She is a great resource for restaurant recommendations as well.

Borgo Pinti Apartment

My wife and mother-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed this accommodation! It is conveniently located near great restaurants and a handy supermarket, not to mention the Duomo and museums. I hardily recommend this apartment.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location

Claudia's apartment was large, clean and tasfully decorated. She was the perfect host. Close walk to everything in town but not so close that you are overrun with tourists. Also located on the same street as our favorite restaurant- La Giostra. (Amazing!!)

Lovely Florence apartment

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bedding and mattresses are very comfortable and cozy. It is very cheerful. There is a washing machine and a small balcony for drying clothes. The dishwasher works well. Amazingly quiet for such a noisy, busy city. We felt very much at home there. Great location! Claudia, our host, is delightful and helpful.

Highly recommend

I have nothing but great things to say about this property. We were three ladies staying together. There were two rooms and a loft. Each of us had our own space. And, there was one full bath and one half bath. Everything was perfect. We used the washer and dried our clothes on the balcony. We could walk to everything. The owner and her assistant couldn't be nicer. I'm already telling all of my friends to stay here when they are in Florence.

Great apartment in fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was us 2 adults and our 2 - 18 year old kids. It was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and privacy. Claudia was super communicative and we arrived with a fresh fruit basket, cold water and homemade olive oil which was amazing. There is a lot of stairs so be prepared for some great exercise (we saw it as a positive). Kitchen is well stocked and there is a washing machine. So close to everything and right outside the door is a cafe, family Italian restaurant and farmacia.

Old world charm and quiet!

We had a lovely stay in this well appointed apartment. It started with a very informative and charming check in with Viviana! She told us all of the important information about the property and then gave us a brief review of interesting a less seen places to visit in Florence. Our communication with the owner, Claudia was great! She checked in with us to be sure we had everything several times and just to let us know she was available if we had questions or wanted some help. She also left us a lovely bottle of wine and some amazing olive oil...above and beyond the call! The apartment was very quiet (yay for sleeping) and we had everything we needed for cooking in the house. We were there for about a week and were happy to call it home!

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We stayed in this apartment with our 2 adult kids for about a week and could not have been happier. Claudia, the host, is one of the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet. She went out of her way to get us to the apartment, when taxis were on strike. She truly cares about the people staying at her place and we are very grateful to have met her. The apartment is in a wonderful location. All the attractions are within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and decorated and provides everything you may need including air conditioning. I cannot think of a single thing that needs improvement. If you decide to stay here, do yourself a favor and try the little Trattoria restaurant right across from the apartment. It became our favorite during our stay. We would gladly return to Claudia's apartment anytime. We had a wonderful stay.

Simply, the best!

There are vacation rentals, and then there are vacation rentals that make you feel like you're the guest in a dear friend's home. This is the place you are looking for in Florence. This home was spacious and beautifully decorated--with special touches throughout. The lay-out of the home was perfect for accommodating our two older teenagers as well. This is a home that encourages family togetherness, while allowing the kids separation and privacy when they wanted it. Our host was simply amazing. We all consider our time with Claudia (and Ketty) one of our best memories of Florence. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (I'll let you be surprised as well). The location was perfect for all our site-seeing in Florence--everything was within reasonable walking distance. We are already trying to determine when we can return!

Amazing place to call home

I’m almost hesitant to write a review and reveal this gem of a property & host. Truly one of the most amazing short term rental experiences we’ve ever had. Claudia and her assistant Viviana were incredibly communicative (before we arrived, met us for check in and consistently throughout our week’s stay). Claudia also provided us with not only a can of her olive oil and wine, but with a homemade cake for my daughter as I had shared it would be her birthday when we arrived - she made us feel like family! They both had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities and helped us rent a private driver for a tour of Siena & San Gimignano (with lunch & wine tasting) as well as arrange a taxi for our departure. And even when there was a small plumbing issue, Claudia worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible, communicating along the way. The apartment was perfect for my sister and I and my 2 teenage kids, enough space to spread out, cook meals, and relax in the evenings while also being a short walk to everything we needed. We will most certainly be back to stay with Claudia!

Great location and host

Stayed in this apartment with my family for a brief visit to Florence during our vacation. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. My son stayed in the loft-style bedroom and got bitten by bugs because we opened the window the first night to cool off as it was hot in the apartment. Due to a misunderstanding with the booking, the air conditioning (a/c) was not turned on during our stay as the host taught we had booked through a different service which apparently doesn't include a/c. The issue was resolved by the host by sending over 2 fans on the second day we stayed there which was enough to keep us cool. After a few days, she realized that the booking in VRBO included a/c so she resolved the matter by covering the individual taxes which are mandatory in Italy. The booking rules were confusing but the stay was lovely. We appreciated the wine and olive oil too. Thank you!

Wonderful Apartment in Firenze

I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our stay at Claudia's charming, spotless apartment. The apartment has everything one would need to feel at home, but more importantly I must comment on the help and welcome we received from Claudia and her representative Ketty. Our flight was diverted to Venice due to bad weather, but I was able to leave a message for Claudia that we would be delayed. Knowing we would be exhausted after flying from the states plus a delay in Venice and a 3 hour bus ride to Florence, Claudia and Ketty went to the trouble of providing us with a much appreciated meal when we arrived. There were other goodies provided not the least of which was the best olive oil in Tuscany. The apartment has everything and is very centrally located with a trattoria, farmacia, and wine shop within 50 feet on the narrow and picturesque Borgo Pinti. The Duomo is a brief stroll away and there are excellent restaurants within minutes. Claudia has provided a list of several of the best. She also provides a cell phone for local calls. We took the cooking class with Barbara and it was a highlight of the trip. It was so much fun shopping at the nearby central market with her and then coming home to cook an amazing meal. We loved staying at Borgo Pinti and I recommend it wholeheartedly. I fully intend to return to Borgo Pinti and I very much want to see Claudia again and thank her for such a lovely experience.

An Exceptional Florence Experience: Claudia's Vacation Rental Delights!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Claudia's vacation rental in Florence! From start to finish, our experience was exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. Here are some of the highlights that made our stay truly memorable: First and foremost, Claudia's communication leading up to our trip was outstanding. She sent us a detailed letter in advance that was incredibly informative and helped us plan our family's stay in Florence better than we could have on our own. It was clear that she genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Upon our arrival, Viviana welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful during the check-in process. She made us feel right at home and provided us with some great local tips that came in handy throughout our stay. One of the standout features of our stay was Claudia's assistance in arranging a taxi from the airport. This small but thoughtful gesture took away so much stress upon our arrival, especially since we were traveling with a pregnant wife. Speaking of the stairs, we were initially concerned about the number of flights it took to reach the unit due to my wife's pregnancy. However, it turned out not to be an issue for us, but I would advise potential guests who are 65+ to consider this aspect. The unit itself was even more impressive than the photos suggested. Home Away From Home

We recently stayed for more than a week and I cannot say enough about Claudia and her invaluable assistance. The apartment is very clean and organized yet homey and comfortable and truly reflects how much care and consideration Claudia puts forth. She's thought of everything! From the lovely basket of fresh fruit and homemade olive oil to the bottled water, juice and coffee to get us started. We so appreciated having the washing machine (push the off/on button before trying to open the door) and iron (you'll need the reducer that is probably on the toaster to plug it in). Claudia answered so many of our general travel questions and even arrange a wine tasting tour for us before we ever arrived at her apartment. She and Martina were only ever a phone call or email away - even when we locked ourselves out of the apartment!! We loved the shutters and window screens - never needed the aC. From the start I felt as if I already knew and her. It was a true pleasure to meet her in person. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to most points of interest. Accadi Trattoria across the street is wonderful and friendly. There is a market nearby that was very helpful as well as a few fruit and vegetable stands that we shopped every couple of days. I highly recommend Claudia's apartments. We cannot thank you enough, Claudia for a wonderful experience! Thank you too for a lovely evening in Panzano.

Wonderful Quaint Appartment

This property is spotlessly clean and there is plenty of room for a family of 4. We stayed for 3 nights and spent only early mornings and late evenings at the flat as we wanted to explore as much of Florence as possible. As can be seen on the listing, there are no city views from this flat, but it is bright and airy and was not an issue for us as we spent limited time there. On check-in, we were met by Viviana who has extensive knowledge about Florence and provided invaluable tips for optimizing the time we were there, including restaurant recommendations. There was a taxi strike on our arrival and she was available to help troubleshoot our transportation from the train station to the flat. In addition, she arranged for taxi pick up back to the train station on our final day. Viviana is a star! There is an extensive guide book at the flat which was also very useful as a resource and we did not have this in other rental properties during our trip, so this is a welcome and much appreciated touch. On our first morning, we encountered an issue with hot water (our mistake), however, both Viviana and Claudia were highly responsive via text and phone and resolved the issue immediately (even though it was our mistake!!). We loved the layout and the small balcony is suitable for 2 people only, but there was a clothes drying rack which we desperately needed following 4 days of travel elsewhere. Rooms are ample in size and bedding and all linens are like new. The kitchen is big enough if you wish to cook and comfortable for 4 people to sit and eat. The location is perfect if your goal is to see as much of the city as possible and we walked everywhere...a small cafe across the street is suitable for a light breakfast and there is also a small convenience store across the street (including beer, wine and other alcohol!). As mentioned in the listing, there are a number of stairs to the flat, so be prepared and pack luggage accordingly. We were warmly welcomed to this beautiful city by both Viviana and Claudia and we would highly recommend this property as a great selection for a family of 4.

Family vacation

We rented both apartments. They were extremely nice and we could not have found a better place to stay. The host helped with our transportation needs and was easy to communicate with. The location was great and walking distance to the train station and the central area of Florence.

Great location and comfort

Spacious and comfortable, easy ten minutes or so to The Duomo or Santa Croce, about 20 minutes to the station. Didn’t get to meet our host except by WhatsApp video, always available. Enjoyed Easter in Firenze, not too crowded and were able to attend the service in the Duomo including fireworks! Good walking tour with Alessandra
